I look around today and it seems that most stars today, music or movies and even writers, are corrupt. You have a few, like U2, that actually care for others, but those are like comets during a blue moon. For example J.K. Rowling is rolling is her money, and hasn't donated a cent. What do you think? Is there a problem here?

i agree with Birdy~ most celebrities have a very big advantage with not your usual sum of money. They don't even have to sacrifice that much to give a lot to help others who are less fortunate. But dont single out celebrities. This can go for any million or billionaire. Yea~they don't have to give any of their earned money away. but if you really think about it, the distribution and paying salaries for jobs is really unfair. Celebrities get paid TONS for providing entertainment and firefighters or policemen don't get even compared to their pay for saving lives everyday. They should think about that.

If you have the where-with-all to give, then dadgummit, give a little of your wealth to someone who can use it! That way, you help yourself feel better, and you help someone else get what they need to live. I personally wouldn't feel satisfied as a celebrity until I knew I had truly helped others.
