We all know that artists have meanings of songs, but then we also have different meanings to them as well. In this topic, I thought it may be nice to discuss meanings-- artists', our own, etc-- behind songs/lyrics.

Outkast's Hey Ya: I have no idea what it's about but I have a lot of good memories with my friends to that song - mainly singing along to it and dancing, lol. Does anyone know what it's about?

Nada Surf's Paper Boats: This song freaked me out the first time I heard it because the second verse is an exact conversation I had had with a friend the day before. It's my official depression song... well, this and Something In The Way.
