I was just thinking I was tierd of seeing posts about how girls go so out of their way to starve and hurt themselves. This slanted view of society is killing me, so guys do nothing?

Let me tell you, do you care about all the guys who go to my gym killing themselves to look like all the guys on magazine covers? Do you care that they try so hard and get no where fast they start doing things like steroids or taking ephodrine to speed up the process? Do you care men are literally dying over looking good every day? I don't kill myself at the gym and I don't really care if you like how I look or not, I do it for health. However I know plenty of guys on strict diets and taking drugs just so a girl will give them the time of day. Please stop ranting about how rough it is for girls, guys are dying to look good just as fast as girls and this one sided slant of how "only girls" need to look good is BS!! I can't count how many times I have to hear girls talk about abs and that V around a guys waist. Do you have any clue the time and dedication it takes to get that? I do!!

Yeah I guess you're right. I mean come on when we have shows like extreme make over and lol ***** eye for the straight guy I guess it proves that guys are goin through the same crap, but also we're girls and we need to vent our anger. Even if guys stress about how they look they just bottle it up inside and explode. Its just a fact a lot of the time. We, well I atleast, need to write or tell someone everything. so thats the only excuse i can think of for the girls lol. but yes im sorry. guys starve or whateva too.

who cares about looks?it's just the outside. what matters the most is how you think and your personality. that's the most important thing.

Billy- Exactly. Girls... guys care too. They just don't ask every five minutes saying "Do I look fat??" My guys friend, Matt. Is always worrying if he looks good! And it's so annoying! He spends way to much time at the gym!!! Guys worry about it too! So stop saying all of this BS!

I mean my bro is the same thing but he doesnt literally starve himself to death anything like that he just wants to look good "alot" and sometimes it can get scary with those drink thinggys he buys from gnc but any way he is healthy but he is soo concious about his wieght he says hes fat but he is like thinner than me! but anyway hes pretty much in good shape eating right and getting the right excercise i agree there is so much preshure

I definately agree. I think society just claims that women have mroe pressure to look good every day, which is not necessarily true. That leads peopel to saying that only women go to extremes that hurt them to look good, when guys do so as well. Which I guess I'm just saying what you said over again, but yeah I agree.
