Everyone is judged on a daily basis, there's no way around it. You're judged on the image you present, the music you listen to, your opinions and thoughts, basically the way you live your life. Just because you've got the "it" factor today doesn't mean tomorow you're still going to be cool when the flavour of the week changes. That's life. It's cruel. But you shouldn't be confined to a certain style, limited creativity, or looks just because thats what the magazines say you should be to be ranked with the elite. So who decides what's cool and what's not? Who are they to say what somebody should be or not be to be well liked? I'd like somebody to tell me what cool is in their definition? and whats normal? What does the superficiality of the word popular make people fawn over and change instantly to fit in? I'd really like to know

I've never been cool and probably will never be. I probably could be though. Anyone could be because its superficial. If you act one way and tell everybody you like some music you could be popular or any other label!

And I hate labels. I hang out with lots of "groups" and I am mostly in dress and music style a "punk". But I'm in gifted progam and get good grades so I'm "geeky". With my teachers I'm a "goody-goody". With my parents I'm a "rebel". And I love all my friends from all my groups!

What makes a person something is another persons opinion. Most of the time, peoples' opinions suck. And I can deal with them. What I can't deal with is people who base their lives around their "group". I have some friends like that.

My point is, it doesn't matter and you shouldn't care.
