You all neglect the beauty that is classical music.

Nobody mentioned Arcangelo Corelli, Copland, Grieg, Mozart, Debussy, Beethoven, Pachebel, Bach, Geminiani, Brahms, Chopin, Dvorak, Puccini, Gluck, Handel, or even Tchaikovsky. I am truly disappointed.

Let me think... Linkin Park annoys me. I like:

Smashing Pumpkins, Blind Melon, some Radiohead, most Nirvana, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton, Cream, Aerosmith's old stuff, B.B. King, Jonny Lang's first two albums (his third one is pathetic)... Oh, yes, and Rob Zombie and Marylin Manson sometimes.

That's what i call rock. Real music. Because hip hop and all that other crap uses what i call "Machina" sounds. It's fake. If the music is played with an instrument, example: guitar, then it's a real song. But latin, and rock, and country. It's all real. Everything else is stupid.

I'm into metal and rock. I listen to rap and r&b, which I am also into. I also like Latin music.

No pop. No country. Only real music.

I like punk rock and metal. Anything with good lyrics and a huge life lesson to be learned in the song, or a song that can just lay out all of your problems is a good rock song to me.

if it sounds good listen to it. and if you dont like it dont listen to it. its as simple as that.

I really don't care what kind of music I listen to ... just as long as they are good! I would have to agree with Sunset on all of the bands she listed plus like a million more of my favorites! Anyways it is nice to see some people on here with good tastes of music.

I am into alot of things mostly hardcore of all genres. I love rock (POD, Puddle of Mudd), grundge (Nirvana, Pearl Jam) and metal(Murder Dolls, Mushroom Head). I also like rap(Tupac, DMX) and r&b(Lauren Hill, Black Eye Peas). I also like latin (Los Tigres Del Norte, Renee) and classic rock (Bob Marley, Eagles). There are Korean muscians I like, but I can't romanize their names.

So I am pretty diverse

Is it just me or does the catagory Indie rock just have bands that sound pretty much alike?

excuse me? you have already made it clear in many other posts that you hate the type of music i do. can we leave it at that? i dont like a lot of the music you listed but im not saying how much they suck. sheesh.

Bleh, Sum 41 & Blink 182 both sound like Good Charlotte, they suck.

I like The Offsprings, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park (number 1 favorite) The Donnas, The Sex Pistols, Jimi Hendrex, Cher, Match Box 20, Faith Hill, ect,. Things along those lines.

I like a bit punk, but not girl singer punk like pink, rock, and some alternative. All American Rejects, the Strokes, Sum 41, Simple Plan, Barenaked Ladies, Blink 182, Dashboard Confessionals, Billy Talent, has anyone ever head of Lit and Stroke 9? They are sweet too.
