Personally, i do feel like it is dysfunctional for men to wear make up. However, in this era of globalization, there is no longer a borderline between not only the countries, but also between the thinking of what men and women should do. If we look carefully at the society around us, we'll see that no one follows the norm anymore. Working women were once seen as dysfunctional. Ladies in anything else but dresses were considered deviants. But now, that is what is considered normal. It's a process of evolution. So maybe now, the men are evolving too.

In what way is the application of cosmetics inherently effeminate?
Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the roar of its many waters. Frederick Douglass

In some cultures, like one where I lived for 2 years, men also wear skirts.

quote: Some mean putt on makeup like lips sticks, eyeliner and foundation so on. Do you think this is fashion or this is modernization! I would say that it is dysfunctional and men should be more machismo type.
Men originally wore high heels. That's all I have to say to this.
