Sometimes i find teen movies annoying. I know i have watched lots of teen movies but for some reason they are getting nowhere and they are not good and personally they are annoying. For one thing, most teen movies now are just more or less the same, stupid corny teen flicks with someone who is popular and the other is a loser and stuff like that. There are even some wherein the plot is like other movies and they just revise the titles or something.
Sometimes i wonder why my friends love to go to malls and then just watch teen flicks that are so stupid. I have watched Slackers, it was really corny and i didnt find it amusing. Also, that movie Chasing liberty, the plot is so common, i think i would rather watch something else worth my money.
Anyway, what do you all think? I just want to know your opinions on teen movies these days. Thanks.

I dont like teen movies. Most are stupid with stupid sex jokes and crap and that is why i dont like them. They make me feel like I am getting dumber...people grow up!!

I hate all teen movies. I watch movies that make me think, like indie and foreign films. I waste my money on good films, not films made to drain out my cash.

i have to admit, some teen movies are corny. most are just written because teens viewers give them a lot of money. i must say, i watch a lot of teen movies; some are pretty entertaining. but i also watch other movies with a deeper meaning, or at least what i think is a deeper meaning.

Well Jamaica we're on the same boat. I real feel that teen movies should have better storylines like kids that are going through hard things like living with drug addicted parents, or kids who are struggling to help their family make living or something like that. No disrespect but i really feel that when white people make movies they show the good side of life never the hard working side. I'm not stereotyping I'm just saying that soe writers should have a better perspective and ask viewers what they want because we're the ones watching it... i feel teen movies should have a better depth and understanding don't get me wrong i want comedy and drama but i sometimes want something that'l make me think

Some are good...Some aren't. The stories are usually all the same. It's so annoying. You always have the jock, the princess, the outcast, etc. And most of them aren't even funny. It's just the same thing over and over again.

Some of them really bother me because they reinforce stereotypes, but I can't wait to see "Harold & Kumar go to White Castle", because that's actually breaking down the stereotype that all "Asians" (often portrayed as orientals, yet another boundary this movie has shattered) are all geniuses who get into Harvard. Plus it's getting pretty good reviews...
