My hip hop and r&b is not whut u make it out to be. My hip hop is a story being unfolded and a dream coming true. My hip hop I guess gets different views from other people but i guess it is a little outta hand......maybe not cuz my hip hop deals with me just sitting bac relaxing after a long day of school taking control of whut belongs to me. Thats my hip hop. whut's yours?

okay first of all, I dont like rap (just to warn yall). I dont think its music because music is about the lyrics and instruments - both rap doesnt have. I dont consider talking about getting laid, doing drugs, and shooting people real "music" - and plus, rap has no real instruments (and I mean drums, guitars, keyboards, and things like that).
Symone, what rock and pop are you listening to that tells you to cut and kill yourself? I hate pop also, but I love rock (and I mean the old rock - James Taylor, Bad Company, Guns N Roses..). I've never heard a classic rock song that told me to go cut myself or kill myself in any way.

I think I'll just stick to hating rap and not get past its vulgarness, because frankly, thats all rap is - vulgar.

old school rap wasnt too bad, before NWA made "it into im gonna shoot you" music

and old and some new R&B is great for "intimate" moments

But its just not "me"

My hip hop is a reflection of me. stating views against a beat almost poeticly. My hip hop is the souljas out there trying to get their voice heard to the masses. My hip hop is not the idiots that only talk about drugs,guns, and sex. but the revolutionaries that talk about what counts. My hip hop is Mos Def, Common, 2pac, Kanye, or Talib Kweli. My hip hop is apart of who i am.

I myself listens to all types of music becuz i'm very versatile i love pop music but hip hop to me iz original somethin that no one can really give or take thats my opinion on it.

i donte even consider it music, how can it be music if it does not have any instruments and no singing? Rap is only getting worse On the radio all the new songs that are coming out are about "passing the blunt" and *****es and hoes, drive-bys, 9mm and shooting people.
