Ah pagents, the horseshow of the modern millenia only stupider. Never before in my mind has there been such a dumber form of well anything. Hell what exactly is so attractive about a dozen+ women in various outfits who's smiles seem painted on and never really reach their eyes? However this about your views not mine, how does feminism relate to pagents and vice-versa?

They aren't all about looks. You don't have to be tall, pretty, or big breasted to win a pageant. They look for well rounded women that have outstanding accomplishments as well as skills, intelligence, goals, morals, and with poise and confidence. They basically look for women with the whole package and can provide as a positive role model and reward them with scholarships.

I used to think they were kinda of stupid too, until I actually started doing them myself and realized how they really are. Pageants have evolved a lot since their beginning, especially the Miss America system, which technically isn't even labeled a "beauty pageant" anymore. But outsiders don't really see that. It's one of those things that is not what they appear to be. They are stereotyped and misunderstood which is why they are attacked by feminists.
