I don't really know how to describe them, but I stole the following from their website: quote: The latest link in the loose-knit chain that connects Pink Floyd, Neu, Can, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, La Dusseldorf, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, The Band, My Bloody Valentine & Spiritualized, Secret Machines play music that is spatial, ambient, organic, ecstatic, hypnotic, and not a little bit psychedelic.
Anyway, if you want to know what they sound like the have a "player" at their website. It isn't very high quality obviously, but you can still get an idea. The Secret Machines

I've heard a lot of good stuff about Secret Machines. What genre are they? or who do they sort of sound like?
~Jimmy Eat World ~Modest Mouse ~Cake ~Fall Out Boy ~Bowling for Soup ~Simple Plan (hottest drummer in the world) ~Stroke 9 ~Lit
Anyone remember stroke 9? Little Black Backpack? Where are they they havent had a CD in like 5 years did they split?
Lit was my first cd :-D granted my dad wouldnt let me listen to it until I was 12 since I got it when I was like 10

marine16...try a little variety, sweetheart. broaden your horizens BEYOND the US military...you might find that there are other things out there BESIDES it. but if its really what floats your boat, go for it babe. my favorites are...i duno, i've got too many to list but the format is a really good one and so is switchfoot(more so their old stuff than the new album, but it's great too)....i like the dave matthews band and led zepplin, as well as U2 (they're my favorite)

I like anything from the United States Marine Corps Marching Band, the United States Air Force Marching Band, the United States Navy Marching Band, and the United State Army Marching Band.
