V to the Izzo, O to the Izza...According to Brooklyn MC Shawn Carter a.k.a. Jay-Z, the November release of The Black Album, will be the last full-length studio recording of his career. WHOA! To mark his retirement from the game, Jay-Z will be teaming up with the Hip Hop Summit Action Network and heavy-hitting radio powerhouse Clear Channel, for a monster benefit concert in Madison Square Garden on November 25. This concert will be the hip-hop all star's last. Double WHOA! Partial proceeds from the historical NYC event will go to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund and the Hip Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN), to be used specifically for voter registration efforts. Mega music mogul, and head of the HSAN, Russell Simmons hopes that this event will create an awareness of the HSAN's goal to register four million voters ages 18 to 30, before the 2004 presidential election.
