Even though I am Christian, I tend not to like much Christian music because my personal music style is harder rock, not Blink182-ish poppy rock... which tends to be a lot of the more modern, younger Christian music. Some is alright, like Steven Curtis Chapman and some others I can't exactly think of right at this moment.

That's just me.

I totally agree with DJ. If I were christian I'm sure "christian music" is the last thing I would listen to. I think people in the christian music industry know they have a hold to a "good" idea, so that they can make money off of all you sheep.

I also hate it how listeners of Christian music (Yes, I know I'm generalizing.) can go straight from listening to Reliant K, then they can put on a Eminem cd right after. Seems kind of hypocritical to me.

Very frankly if I was a Christian I would be outraged be the whole concept of "Christian" music and I don't believe I need to point out the blatant irony in the "Christian" rock star concept.

i love almost all music, but i like christian music because a lot of it seems to have more inspiration, maybe even emotion behind it than all the mass produced pop crap you see a lot of. And i like the fact that i know if i buy a christian cd, i dont have to think about cuss words in it.

I can't stand POD, anymore, but Switchfoot is my favorite band. I think that thier best album is "New Way to Be Human", my favorite songs are on that album.

Well, I absolutely love Christian music! As to the comment "If I were a Christian I would be outraged"...thats not how it is. "Christian Music" is just a way to categorize the music. Have you ever heard any of the music? It is so beautiful. I have the "Here I am to Worship" cds and they are so awesome. It is the only music that completely fulfills my heart and leaves me completely contented. That is only because you have to be there with a right mind and a right heart. God is wonderful and has many ways of moving you if you give him a chance! I do not keep track of most of the names of the Christian Music, but that does not matter because I choose not to idolize anyone but God. I will leave you with that. Razz

i love it. actually, it's pretty much all i listen to. not all of it is cheesy and cliche. ever listen to the blood violets, blindside, skillet, kids in the way, falling up, spoken, emery, subseven, or thousand foot krutch? they're all great. and there's more where that came from.

I love Christian rock music! Everyone needs to check out www.freshrelease.com it has the info about pretty much any christian music artist you can think of. It has detailed reviews that you can trust and has a neat feature of saying "if you like this artist/band, you might also like: ____." which is very useful.

I like some, like Sonic Flood, Bleach, ect. But, I don't like all, my Aunt is a Christian singer and I'm not to fond of it.
