Always see it on TV,
Or read it in the magazines,
Celebrities who want sympathy,
All they do is piss and moan,
Inside the Rolling Stone,
Talkin' about,
How hard life can be,
I'd like to see them spend a week,
Living life out on the streets,
I don't think they would survive,
If they could spend a day or two,
Walking in someone else's shoes,
I think they'd stumble and they'd fall,
They would fall,
Life styles of the rich and the famous,
They're always complainin', always complainin',
If money is such a problem,
Well they got mansions,
Think we should rob them,
Did you know if you were famous you could kill your wife,
And there's no such thing as 25 to life,
As long as you got the cash to pay for Cochran,
Did you know if you were caught,
And you were smokin' crack,
McDonalds wouldn't even wanna take you back,
You could always just run for mayor of D.C.
I'd like to see them spend a week,
Living life out on the streets,
I don't think they would survive,
If they could spend a day or two,
Walking in someone else's shoes,
I think they'd stumble and they'd fall,
They would fall,
Lifestyles of the rich and the famous,
They're always complainin', always complainin',
If money is such a problem,
Well they got mansions,
Think we should rob them,
Lifestyles of the rich and the famous,
They're always complainin';always complainin
If money is such a bother
We got so many problems
Think we could solve them
Lifestyles of the rich and the famous
We'll take clothes, cash, cars, and homes,
Just stop complainin',
Life styles of the rich and famous,
Life styles of the rich and famous,
Life styles of the rich and famous.

Well, see maybe they just learned their lesson. Maybe it IS hard to be a celebrity.
Or maybe they just become bigger wusses the more famous they get. It's all a matter of perception I think.

I understand what you mean. Personally I find a hint of hypocracy in it all. I mean now THEY are the ones that are rich and famous. But, I love the song.

I agree with it to a point, but I guess everyone's life must be harder than it seems.
I find it ironic that this was Good Charlotte's first big hit, and then they come back with a song about how no one will leave them alone now that they're famous in I Just Wanna Live. But they mention the irony in the actual song lyrics, so I forgive them. I have an irrational love for Good Charlotte.

I kind of do, kind of don't. I mean, for starters, it's a generalization, however, it brings up good points about whether or not money solves problems; and who, exactly, is allowed to complain about life according to our society. It also alludes to various events in the news, which is why I kind of agree with it.

Mod8, please read the last sentence on the thread. There is a question about the lyrics. There is a point to it.

Do you have a point with this? no? I thought not

strike 1, at least try to have a point when you post, if you want to share lyrics create a thread for it not a thread a song

I'm sorry dave I can't let you do that
