(Yes, I am a geek, and I'm happy that way)

Anime, video games, manga, and all that has to do with it.

Because I found no other thread on it that wasn't 20000 years old.

I just saw Wolf's Rain and was amazed at how unexpectedly original and intelligent it was...definite favorite anime so far.

So, yes, if anyone wants to add to the topic, do so.

Bump

So, I beat RE4. And I managed to get the Chicago Typewriter, which is the most fun gun in the whole game. I was quite proud of myself, so I had to mention it. Smile

Anime is a medium of entertainment that really needs to be appreciated more publicly, but the last thing I want is some reporter or hater saying that anime is meant only of kids or porn lovers.

On the reporter bit, I remember a news segment from almost five years ago where someone from Channel 2 Houston decided to display Plastic Little and Pure Love, two hentai anime that my former workplace still sells along with some porn in the same issle. I still can't believe that they didn't specify that this kind of anime isn't sold in many places.

However, on the subject of anime, my favorite titles as of right now include,

Wolf's Rain
Dragon Drive
Nightwalker: Midnight Detective
Comic Party
Digimon
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Japanese and American
Fullmetal Alchemist

Wolf's Rain, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Comic Party are three that anyone should see. The others are my personal favorites.

I've seen one episode and read the first to volumes of the manga (boredom+lack of reading material=...) and I have come to the conclusion that I want the small one's (ed right?) jacket

Miyazaki

So totally. I'm not actually that much of an anime fan, but these movies are acceptional. I loved Whispers of the Heart. It was such a cute story Smile - and Howles Moving Castle was awesome too! There are so many good ones.

Have you been adopted yet Anna? - You could be my sister, YV is an awesome YN Mom.

I love Naruto! Is anyone here a Miyazaki (no clue how to spell that) fan? He made My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and a million other movies.
