I play SoulCalibur 2 occasionally, the game cube is more my bros turf.

when I play I play as Mitsurughi, Taki or the one large Green fellow who generates energy weapons

I feel like a total queen because I beat this damn game freak that no one else had beaten at that game (in which I kinda suck in).

I always use Tira.

Oh and on the broader topic of the thread:

I've been playing Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday alot recently.

Probably the only one here who'd be interested in it is ampmaster. It's a really (and I mean REALLY) detailed WW II strategy game that runs from 1936 to 1954...hourly. Granted the hours tick by at a couple a second, but it's still neat.

You can tweak so much stuff, plus there's all sorts of events that happen. So far I've played as Germany and actually BEAT Russia, and as the US and made it to Berlin before the Soviets, allowing for a totally free Western Europe.

Oh and you can get into large scale nuclear wars. That's fun.

I actually cried at the end of it.

You NEED to play this game in the dark Celtic. And don't get fed up before you make it to the apartments! Wink

I really liked the first Silent Hill. The story is great, but the third will will keep you on your toes. If you loved the music in the first one you will love it in the third. Silent Hill 3 is great and the controls are so much easier to get used to.

What would be the best Silent Hill though? I like the first one's story most but won't let that be a guide when I purchase one of the games.

Is Silent Hill good though? I've never played and only heard vague rumours about it being the biggest mind-fuck on earth

It most certainly on both those aspects. I loved the first one, because of course that's the first one. The Silent Hill 3 is great too and the controls are so much better. Silent Hill 4:The Room is a good one to check out also. I would have to say with the price of the PS2 which is $149 I think is great. I mean I got one right when it came out and it was worth it then. Getting one at the price now is an even better deal!!

Argh I want an Xbox and PS2 now so I can play those games!

I never really got in to Resident Evil, It was fun but the excess of gore and shitty weapons (the magnum was really fun though) kinda killed it for me.

Has any one ever heard of Spartan: Total Warrior? That game looks amazing with a capital "A"

Yeah Yeah that game is amazing. I have it and it's just great.

Also what do y'all think about the new controller for the Revolution?

The PS3 is supposed to have that too. It was supposed to come out this Spring, but now they are working on the controllers and DVD drives.

would play RE4, but I'm more into psychological horror. Plus, the music in the Silent Hill series is so badass.

I agree. The music in Silent Hill is way better than Resident Evil, but RE4 gameplay is amazing.

I would have to say FF7 and FFX are the best ones. Unless you are going to play FF3 on Super Nintendo. That one is awesome!! Yeah I would have to say those are my favorite FF games.
