I just saw a sneak preview of Superman Returns. Wow. It was packed full of great special effects and I liked the storyline...though I think that Kate Bosworth was a bit miscast. Brandon Routh was a very good Superman and certainly looked the part. I wonder why executives didn't cast an unknown for Lois Lane since they did for Superman. Ah well. Go see it!

I think its time for a new comic strip about a new superhero. I've lost interest in all the re-re-remakes of these movies. Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean is the new and improved hero of our days, completely unconventional and drunk. Just the way they should be.

Superman Returns is a misnomer as with all superhero flicks like daredevil was really bullseye, spider-man was "willem dafoe loses his mind", Batman wwas "Joker" and Fantastic Four was "a huge pile of crap" so superman is really "Lex Luthor/Kevin Spacey kicks your ass" at least I hope so and I hope the kumar guy gets killed

C+ at best. A huge letdown.
