I'm a huge Greenday fan. Does anyone have American Idiot? I love that CD. Holiday, Blvd. of Broken Dreams, and Jesus of Suburbia are my favorites. Any other fans out there?

What I've heard of Green Day is alright, better than some junk, but I have to tell my story. When I first heard of Green Day a few months ago, (and no, I'm not Ammish)I asked if it was a St. Patrick's Day celebration....The looks my friends gave me could've caused bodily harm...Now of course knowing who they are, I can't forgive myself for being so naive.

I don't like Green Day at all. For some reason they really annoy and I stick to Jimmy Eat World and The Postal Service.

i don't care what they call themselves. they can call themselves cowboys, but if they could still play their music, i would still buy their album. yes dookie is an awesome album. i love all their albums, especially welcome to paradise & chump. longview is catchy too.

i think greenday gets way to much radio time. I used to like them but now at my school you can ask just about anyone if they like greenday and they will say yes. when you ask them what song they like they will all say boulavard of broken dreams(the song that gets played on the radio like 4 times an hour). plus when you ask them about other songs the only songs they know are the ones off the american idiot album.

I'm glad Green Day is famous now but I've been listening to them for like the last five-six years. Now everyone's running around claiming to love them but they haven't heard half their music.

Have every album of theirs, including American Idiot, which personally, I think is one of their worst ablums. I still like it, but theyve changed so much over the years (as we all do). They were a good band, true, now they claim to be punk (if you think this, you do NOT know punk music)and too many kids hang on every word that falls out of Armstrongs mouth(not the bands fault). I think their best album was Dookie. They need to focus on the fans, the music and the change like they used to and not so much on the image as they do now.

I am also a huge fan of Greenday. An interesting fact: Did you know that Greenday began their first tour in a Bookmobile (an old bus) that they gotfrom drummer Trey's dad?

I feel so...young, compared to the rest of you. You'll all benn listening to Greenday for so long, and I just started getting into them when American Idiot came out. But I love them so much, they're awesome. My favorite songs are Holiday and Homecoming. Greenday Rocks!!!

yeah greenday songs are pretty easy to play in general. I practicly learned to play the guitar playing greenday and ramones songs
