quote: I LOVE Greenday! Do you know any of their older stuff, like Poprocks and Coke (which is my FAVORITE song?!)
Yeah, I have that on International Superhits. Excellent song. By the way, I have all of the old stuff too. I was a fan before American Idiot. "Good Riddance" is probably my overall favorite.

What about the older stuff like "good riddance" and "minority" ? I don't mind the newer stuff off "American Idiot", but I still will prefer the old stuff.

just a question. is it just me or is their sound a little different from their earlier stuff.....like their last album just a side-note, i'm not a die-hard fan or anything, this is just sumthing i've noticed, nor do i own any of their albums, but i am familiar with their stuff.

You know, it kinda bothers me how a lot of people are suddenly now in to green day, saying their like obsessed with them and stuff, but they just know about their new album. I think people should get to know the older green day, THEY are my fav. Dont get me wrond, Green Day still rocks!
Why do I have a conciense, all it does is **** with me?

I only have their American Idiot CD, but I've borrowed others from friends. I like American Idiot, Jesus of Surburbia, When September Ends, and Holiday the best.

I'm not a big fan of St. Jimmy. It is probably my least favorite song on American Idiot.

St. jimmy is funny if you ever care to listen to the lyrics I liked Give me Novicane. Just because i listen to green day doesn't mean i don't listen to the classic stuff the ramones, dead kenndys, the clash, the cure, sex pistols, bif naked ( she really isn't classic but how can you ignore her ?) Personally don't like Pink Floyd but thats only because i heard all the time form my real dad and uncles since i was six it got old. Anyway stop with the sterotypes listening to Green Day doesn't make you a teeny booper

Jesus of Suburbia annoys me. There was one song I really liked by them (besides Blvd of broken dreams). Damn. It was on their Nimrod album... God.
