A.F.I. Lyrics
Girl's Not Grey Lyrics

I'll lay me down tonight
Much further down
Swim in the calm tonight
This art does drown

(What follows) me as the whitest lace of light
(Will swallow whole) just begs to be imbrued?
What follows has lead me to this place
where I belong, with all erased

All insects sing tonight
The coldest sound
I'd send God's grace tonight
Could it be found?

(What follows) me as the whitest lace of light
(Will swallow whole) just begs to be imbrued?
What follows has lead me to this place
where I belong, with all erased

I'll lay me down tonight
Much further down
Watch stars go out tonight
On sinking ground

I'll lay me down, I'll lay me down

(What follows) me as the whitest lace of light
(Will swallow whole) just begs to be imbrued?
What follows has lead me to this place
where I belong, with all erased

What follows will swallow whole
What follows will swallow whole

A.F.I. Lyrics

The Leaving Song Pt. 2 Lyrics

Don't waste your touch, you won't feel anything
Or were you sent to save me?
I've thought too much, you won't find anything...
Worthy of redeeming

Yo he esta-do agui muchas veces antes y regreso

To... break down, and cease all feeling
Burn now, what once was breathing
Reach out, and you may take my heart away

Imperfect cry, and scream in ecstasy
So what befalls the flawless?
Look what I've built, it shines so beautifully
Now watch as it destroys me

Y regreso agui otra vez y comienzo

To... break down, and cease all feeling
Burn now, what once was breathing
Reach out, and you may take my heart away

Break down, and cease all feeling
Burn now, what once was breathing
Reach out, and you may take my heart away

I left it all behind, and never said goodbye
I left it all behind, and never said goodbye
I left it all behind, and never said goodbye
I left it all to die

I saw its birth, I watched it grow
I felt it change me
I took the life, I ate it slow
Now it consumes me

I... break down, and cease all feeling
Burn now, what once was breathing
Reach out, and you may take my heart away

Break down, and cease all feeling
Burn now, what once was breathing
Reach out, and you may take my heart away
... Heart away

I really like Avril's new album, too. She really sounds mature in her songs.

Track Num. 5, 'How Does It Feel', really spoke to me.

Just so I can do my daily job of pissing people off, let me just say that I thought Avril's CD kickes ***. But I know every one here strongly disagrees with me, so let's just leave it at that.

Has anybody listened to the new Thursday cd, WAR ALL THE TIME. The whole cd sends a strong message, the songs are so well written, and the messages stay with you. Geoff Rickly writes about things that have happened to him or people he knows, and in the paper that comes with the cd, with all the lyrics written on it, he gives the suicide hotline.
THURSDAY ROCKS!

gary jules just did the cover.
It wasn't that, I just really enjoyed the music video, I found it sort of creative.

quote:
Does it go "It's a......mmAAAAADddd world.....mmAAAddd world......"

Yeah... It's like, "I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dyeing are the best I've ever had. I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take, when people run in circles it's a very, very- Mad world.

Some people found that sond deep. Others found it boring, and some people just thought the song was stupid. But me- I thought he was suicidal, so it became my new favorite song. Heh...He didn't even write it.

MercyMe is an excellent Christian artist
I wouldn't know.
I went to a plus one concert at my church once. But I decided it wasn't the best thing for me to do, as I was only thinking about how ****ing gorgeous one of the band members was.

i can only imagine-

I've never heard of it.
But I "Googled" it, and if you're talking about a Christian song, then it's by MercyMe.

yeah! we sing that song in my youth group a lot and last year when i was in jr. high and in the worship band, we sang it almost every month when we led. One night we decided to change things up and Miki out of the blue asked me to sing the first verse. So that was one of my few solos at church, and that's a pretty good song, but it's really, completely, horribly overdone and overplayed. MercyMe is an excellent Christian artist tho, their other stuff is great, like, "Word of God Speak" and the other new one they play on the Christian stations that I can't remember the name of now. Lol

___Yep. Gary Jules is the one who sings the sad song from the end of the movie "Donnie Darko". If you're a fan of the movie you should watch the "Mad World" music video(it's on the donnie Darko DVD, but you could also probably download it from somewhere on the internet if you're intelligent enough to find it).
