Osama bin Laden didnt do this for his religion.. yeah some part of it may have been, or that may be what they say, but if you go deep into the root of the reason, i think it had more to do with them being mad at us, not becuase their supior being told them too...

religion doesn't really concern to the topic of OBL other then he THOUGHT he was doing something for his religion, but that really isn't what the muslim religion is all about. SO whether then debating about whether Isreal is christan or not, lets stick to the topic about OBL.

To Takinastand: religion is being brought in this because this is a direct result of a religious fanatic who is beginning to try to wage a war between Islam and the West. You can practice whatever religion you want, as long as it promotes postive initiative and not harming others. And I feel just awful for the innocent Afghani's constantly living in fear, for a long time now, even before this, they've been treated like Jews in Concentration Camps by their own government. The majority do not support Osama Bin Laden, and hopefully I pray that we will not further harm those already suffering from this dreadful occurence.

first of all... my name is takinastand becuase i take a stand for what i believe.. e.g. gay rights, world peace, tolerism, things of that nature.. im not a religious person really at all.. im catholic... and believe in god.. but dont really practise it.. i dont go to church really... so takinastand doesnt mean taking a stand for god.. and yes, its true, they died becuase of their religion, but not becuase they were mad at us for the many religions we practise.. something upset them to the point that they did what they felt they had to do for their superior being.. it didnt start because of religion... thats what i meant.. sorry to confuse you.

They ran those planes into the building because of their religion, and they were mad because we took up for Israel (GOD'S CHOSEN CHRISTIAN COUNTRY). I believe everything happens for a reason. I didn't ever say I agreed with the US government on military action. If I was an afghan citizen i would believe the US was evil in what it was doing.

What I meant was that the fact that he was aganist the US and that he was trying to hurt people means he is evil. Not being with the US doesn't make you evil, it is when you try to kill innocent people in your own country or another one that makes you evil.
