What did everyone think of the recent bombing and explosions causing the world trade certer to colapse? Is this the beginning of more violence in the world? What will happen next and what will our president do? Does the fact that people hyjacked planes and were able drive them into buildings which already had exploses in them make anyone else feel unsafe? If this is a safe country then what does it feel like to be in a country where this happens frequently. How do we repair the damage from this attack, and make sure these things don't happen in the future? Who are the terrorists that bombed america. Are they from a group or representing a country? Do we feel safe leaving this in the hands of a man who we elected because these are the things we need to think about during an election, instead of affiliation or social status.

the problem which comes out to be is that a bunch of people practising islam have misinterpreted their religion.they think their sins would be forgotton if they pray 2 or 3 everyday .one of the commandments requires to feed the poor.
they arent saving the innocent ,they are just killing them so that their religion has a stand world wide and people fear their power.
pretty mistaken about the phrophet's will they are.

This Islam issue has to be settled. Get the facts staight, Islam DOES NOT PREACH TERRORISM. IT DOES NOT TELL MUSLIMS TO KILL.

A quick response to the moron who said that "killing is in their 10 commandments"
I dont even need to ask but i will anyway. Have you ever read the Qur'an? Then how on Earth would you know it says though? Or did you learn that from the news? Nowhere in the Islamic religion does it tell Muslims to kill innocents.

As mentioned before, this is similar to the Crusades. Islam is being abused by certain leaders around the world to persuade igonrant youths that the right path is to kill (Americans, Israelis, Jews, etc.). These igorant youths are people from poor areas who have no education. That is the reason they are so easly brainwashed. They do not kill because they are Muslims or because they are Arabs. They kill because they are uneducated brainwashed fools.

Those who do the brainwashing do it for their own political reasons. They abuse religion because it is the easiest to abuse and use as a banner for either a revolution, or an attack, or etc. These "leaders" are not different than the leaders during the Crusade. Pope Urban II abused Christainity and made his people believe that it was their duty to go to war.

If anybody still has doubts, please let me know. I really want to help to get rid of this false belief. We have to settle this issue if we are to discuss others.

I think this is true.... I have heard my dean tell us that Iraq people especially those involved in jihad are pleased when they kill... and also, its in their 10 commandments. but whatever... anyway, i think the reason that most teens feel that way about Muslims is because of what is NOW happening... what we hear in the news and stuff... and also, if you call this a bunch of bull, why is Iraq still on war themselves??? i mean, in their own country... That is my question. ALso, there are lots of Muslims in the southern part of the Philippines and we have tried to accept them and let them be a part of our country for they are half Filipinos too but ITS THEM who are so... ksp (what we call "kulang sa pansin" which means they lack attention) I mean, take a look at the Abu Sayyaf, they are a bunch of Muslim Terrorists here in southern Philippines and they are ones who terrorize Filipinos and Americans because they want to conquer the whole Philippines and after that, the whole world.... So, why....would you say its just a bunch of bull? If it is, why is Iraq still not on good terms even in their own country and with the whole world???

I'm sorry, but I MUST correct you here.

Let us speak about the Nazi: they killed thousands and thousands and thousands of Jews, right? How 'bout the Ku Klutz Klan? They killed many black people because the bible told them to.

And that's only two examples! So, will I, based on these facts, go around saying and believing that Christians are horrible people? No, for God sakes! We, MUSLIMS, realize that other Muslims have gone corrupt and are giving us a bad name, but doesn't mean we are all bowing down shouting joy when we hear that 9/11 was caused by Arab Muslims. We DO NOT FOLLOW THEM.

I understand that it's not your fault you believe the news, but you must realize and get over the fact that the news is BIAS. And that you have to go and learn for yourself, before going and making accustations yourself.

And Iraq? Is America good terms with the world? Doesn't it seem like America is trying to dominate the world? I also heard that Philliphens had a very bad humans rights record?

^Please, see what the news does? Just because I hear all that stuff doesn't mean it's true. So, next time before you go and say things about Iraq and Muslims, look up your facts and consider others feelings.

Thank you Smile

Why do people blame others when the others are as innocent as them

I love this saying and this is what i believe but even i dont do so well in following it. I am an American but i am also a Muslim and i an happy to be so. It is hard to be a Muslim in this time and it leads a lot of youth in America to wish they were not of a Muslim family, but i just keep going. I dont know why we the youth of this religion are being blamed for the actions of others therefore should we (Muslims) blame the youth of Christianity for the Crusades? No and thats how you should about blaming us. BEing a Muslim helps me stay in line and if anyone want s to learn more just reply and i will try to contact you.

Worrying about terrorism causes more stress than terrorism itself.

How ironic.

Wow, i'm so excited that i found this site. All of you teens, or youth are so wise and accepting. I myself am 16 and an Iraqi-American, i was born in KY and hv lived here ever since. I'm also a Muslim. I've gotta relay my expierences to you just to you kno what its like for us Muslim Youth in America. Among being called things like terrorist, and Anti-American, i've been asked many times over if i can fly a plane, why i hate America, ifi kno saddam hussien, why we worship a cow (WHICH WE DONT, ALLAH IS JUST A TRANSLATION FOR GOD), and many other rude and embarrising things. I always keep my cool, but still, it hurts to see teens so ignorant about Islam, its a very peaceful and accepting religion. All this crap about jihad and how we wanna kill everyone is a bunch of bull! i mean, WOW and to see older supposedly more wise and educated adults badmouth Islam, its appalling. I just wanna thank all you guys on Youth Noise for being so openminded, it gives me hope that maybe u'll go out there and make a huge impact on our very ignorant community!

There was a clip of the second plane hitting, taken from a very low angle. (I think they were interviewing a man who had seen the first plane hit). I remember my mind going completely blank when I saw this, as if I was thinking "What did I just see ?" (My mom made a funny comparision: "It was like if the dog walked into the room and it had a pair of wings, it just DOESN'T happen). I think she's right. You SEE the plane hitting the tower, but your mind can't really process it, because planes aren't suppose to fly into buildings, just like dogs aren't supposed to have wings)

Evening Dust
by Chicken Little:

Even from a place in hell
You can see the sunset swell
Fading into black.
Having all, but light it lacks,
When the sun goes down.

A grasshopper’s breath—
A change so small.
See, the sky will fall.

But everything’s ok—
We can hold the darkened day.

Promise you will help.

Everyone says how the terrorist attacks killed so many people. I heard the news just after i got out of skool, and at first i was shocked. But then the feeling numbed.
Where i live, Northern Ireland, we must have lost the same amount of people to terrorists over a number of years. So whilst i felt sorry for them, i knew we had more pressing problems at home.

I first got word of these attacks on the radio in england (that is my home country) and on the headlines said stay tuned to find out more about the terrorist attacks on america, and i thought what could someone possibly do to anger the whole of america and then i saw the news on it about an hour later, shock, horror, who would be insane enough to launch an attack on a country that is basically a hundred times bigger than their own has a lot of contacts (the british sas for example) and has enough nuclear weapons to blow the world up 40 times over, their are some severe nutcases in this world and put it this way if bin laden is not found, he will lead a pretty sad life running away from the rest of the world mad

President Bush: "May God continue to bless America as we plunge bombs into this country..."
terrorists: "May Allah bless us as we plunge planes into these buildings..."

If we don't believe what the terrorists did was right (and I hope nobody here does), then we shouldn't justify our own actions by invoking some higher power either. The hypocrisy is more than a little striking....

As to whomever it was that said we should turn Afghanistan into a parking lot if the Taliban doesn't bend to our almighty wrath or whatever: We were attacked by a small group of terrorists, not the Taliban. Even if we had been attacked by the Taliban, the Taliban is a political entity not supported by the people of Afghanistan. The WTC may have had 20,000 innocent people in it at the time the terrorists hijacked four planes; Afghanistan has several million innocent people in it as we drop a couple hundred bombs and a lot of ground troops.
Given the statistics, I'd like to suggest that Bush's notion of "infinite justice" isn't justice at all. It's an even more terrifying brand of terrorism, with a powerful nation that seems to think it's God's messenger or something self-righteously swooping in with fancy technology, and not only emotionally but physically uprooting thousands upon thousands of families. Visit a refugee camp sometime and then tell me if punishing an entire nation for the actions of a few (who use the same "divine inspiration" to justify their own actions) qualifies as justice.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't seek revenge; on the contrary, anyone who could ever dream of committing such a heinous crime against humanity deserves to be punished, and definitely should be for the sake of the rest of the world's safety. However, that doesn't mean we have the right to turn a nation full of innocent people into a "parking lot"-- and anyone who thinks it does is as bad as the Taliban, because both support the promulgation of terror
