How many other countries eat, breath, sleep and embrace entertainment like we do? Not many.

Indian celebrities are not big here, because I don't speak the language and most people here don't. Same with Chinese...plus...in my opinion the music is really bad.

Frace is responsible for the same things, you just don't see it. If your going to pay big money for wine...where is it coming from? France. They are in control of many more markets then you are giving them credit for. They are if not just as responsible as us, more. Who do you think is one of the big 3 in world car sales? France, not us.

And blaming Britney CDs being sold all over the world on Ameica is not valid. America does not restrict trade as much as other countries do. It is the company selling the items...not Americans. Many of those companies also have huge offices in other countries and provide many jobs for citizens of other countries, jobs they wouldn't have and money that would not be spent with in their own governments. Yet again, you also can not stop people from buying what they want. Have I ever seen a good Indonisian movie? No...therefore I am not going to buy them.

on the World market...I'd say these countries are in control.

USA, France, Britain, Taiwan, Japan, China, Switzerland and Germany. We are not alone in competing for a global market.

But where is Canada did this occur. It makes a big difference. If it is in Quebec I can understand, it would be the same as going to France and not speaking French but I am in Saskatchewan and I am the only person in my entire school who can speak more than two words of french.

yes I have...in fact I have been in a fist fight with a Canadia Rugby player over this exact issue.

I do know French and Canadians, and I mean as in actual people who live there. And yes some of them are wonderful people...there are plenty just like what you say you hate. Spend some time there...you'll understand.

"Canda", as you put it, ( I AM MOCKING YOU) is not a pacifist country. One of their snipers took down an enemy from 1.51 miles away recently. Canada once beat America in a war. And Canada doesn't defend itself most of the time because IT IS ONE OF THE MOST PEACEFUL PLACES ON EARTH. It is even more gun crazy than the U.S. , with a higher percentage of the population owning guns. However, while America has around 11,000 gun deaths per year, Canada only has somewhere around 180. In fact, most of them are people visiting Canadian cities from just below the river. It doesn't have an incredibly active military, because no one ever attacks them. But they have an incredible army. I have been to Canada, and it is a great place.

Canada is a middle power and we are quiet content that way. Canada is one of the most liked countries in the world. Ask the Dutch. We do more than you think. The Canadarm, humanitarianism, peace keeping and so on. We are not a warring nation and we do not want to take over the world.
