At least in Canada we don't have little kids dying because their parents can't afford to get them treatment. honestly money is not an important part of health care. Money doesn't give a person the right to get treated before another person

but an hour isnt very long........

urrrrg...healthcare.it took me a long time to see a doctor in canada.i waited for almost an hour.

Heh, the reason that we canadians are never at war is that we have no military to speak of. All our money goes to paying for healthcare.

actually, I really wish I was Canadian. Well, first Canada never seems to be in war and we've been in war for like my whole life, and it sux. Also, Avril Lavigne was born in Canada, so I think ur really lucky to be living there because if Avril lived there then it must be cool because shes like the coolest thing that ever happend in the music industry. oh yea and i like the TV shows Canada makes like Degrassi lol.

hockey is mighty cool. you try ice skating, stick handling, and having guys with mullets run at you while you're trying to score a goal.

Okay, a couple of things:

1. Canada is too left-wing in my opinion. It has socialized health care (which costs a lot, is bureaucratic and ultimately UN-maintainable in aging populations), parties which make the democrats look center-right (scary thought) and is consistently neutral to war (and also a haven for criminals and draft-dodgers, though those are about 0.1% of the population). For this reason, politically I don't like Canada.

2. Canada has wonderful forests, cities, and other attractions in it. Its a great place to visit and live in, if you can get past the high taxes.

3. Booing an anthem or insulting a nation in general is bad taste. Making fun of people is all fine and good if its just a joke, but being nasty is not good.

4. Americans keep on screwing up Canada's environment with their acid rain, SUVS and other pollution. So, I have to ask one thing: Why aren't you guys resentful of us for that? I know when I was living in Texas people would get annoyed at Mexico for its pollution (one time poor people there burned down an area, and the smoke and pollution reached San Antonio), so people were very annoyed. Is that the case up north?

I've never been a fan or anything but i don't see anything wrong with it.

Who cares? It doesn't matter. All over the world there are people dissing Americans, Brits, Canadians, French, etc, etc, so don't take it personally. Besides, people only diss Canada because they're jealous

no, i don't know what war i was refering to. i confuse myself a lot. please take this statement as a void on that thing in my previous post.

the added letter thing is really more of a british thing. canada was just a commonwealth of the crown for so long, that it sorta stuck. it takes time to get used to. my chem teacher is british, and now i don't think twice about something like colour or favourite.

Most of the Canadians I've met have not been very polite, simply because I'm American, heh.

And I hate when needless letters are added into English.. which is why I prefer American English.
