Read what I say and read what I say carefully: The Bible and the Quran are both violent. The Muslim Terrorists in the Middle East took the voilent parts of the Quran literally. Christians in the past (and today) did the same thing with the bible, and killed millions upon millions of people in the name of God throughout history. The KKK is basically a white supremacist Christian cult. They want America to be a White Christian utopia. And all those people that bomb abortion clinics and kill abortion doctors, are Christian. And those people that used the bible to protect their right to own slaves. They follow the bible, but too literally. Just like Muslim terrorists follow the Quran too literally. Let me guess, "Oh, but they aren't Christian." Well then, using that logic, aren't the Muslim terrorists, not Muslim? " The Table Spread 5:32 Whoever kills a human being, it is as if he had killed all mankind. Whoever saves the life of one, it is as if he had saved the life of all." That means, it is better to saves lives than take them. I guess those terrorists aren't Muslim after all. Did I make myself clear or do I need to repeat myself again?

"Ever heard of the Crusades? The Inquisition? The Salem Witch Trials?" yes i have they are all against the christian bible to. And responding to Earthgoddess The KKK is completely against the christian bible to. The Bible says as one of the commandments Though Shall Not Kill. Jesus also says to pray for your enemys....Ever Heard "Turn the other Cheek" thats from the christian bible. As earthgoddess said "exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." Yes that is true it said that. But Christians do not follow those rules of the old testament. We only follow the Ten Commandments and what jesus instructed that is why you dont see christians offer sheep and cattle to god. That is what the Jews do. Christians follow Jesus. Who is not violent. Jesus never killed anyone. And he teaches the same. The reason we dont kill witches is because Jesus died for our sins. And if you choose to except him your sins will be washed away and you will be saved. If you dont then we believe you will go to hell. So therefore it is the Witches choice what she will do. We do not decide for them. And I would like you to name some Christian Terrorists , EarthGoddess, That followed what the scripture said.

It is very easy to spread nonsense ,but it's hard to go to library or good source and search for the information you want. Why don't you all read the Quran ? I'm sure you will find it fascinating and peacefull In fact, the Quran states: "It may well be that God will bring about love (and friendship) between you and those with whom you are now at odds…God does not forbid you to show kindness and deal justly with those who neither fight against your faith nor drive you out of your homes: for God loves the just." (60:7-8) It also states: "Those who follow the Jewish faith, and the Christians…all who believe in God and the Last Day and do righteous deeds shall have their reward with their Lord. They will have nothing to fear or to regret. (2:62)] Islamic law outlaws war against any country in which Muslims are allowed to practice their religion freely, and forbids the use of fire, the destruction of buildings and the killing of innocent civilians in a military campaign. So although Muslims, like Christians or Jews, have all too often failed to live up to their ideals, it is not because of the religion per se you can learn more and even order your free copy from this link: http://www.cair-net.org/

Considering that about half of muslims are women (mostly unbearded) I'd say that's not very acurate Islam is a peaceful religion because, while there are strict rules of war, there are also strict rules telling you to only fight against soldiers and to stay away from innoccent bystanders and trees (seriously, trees are actually mentioned. You're not supposed to sabatoge anything, just fight the guy in front of you)

Violence and Cruelty in the Bible.839 verses of violence and cruelty. Nice. Oh and there was that little witch burning thing: "Exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." Of course the burning of thousands of women and children doesn't matter. And let's just forget those "pro-life" murderers. The KKK. And the countless other Christian terrorists in history.

Islam does not teach violence either Islam teaches a very firm justuce code which can seem very violent to people who don't know but it is the very old testament eye for an eye type of justice. Then on to Jihad, the current type of terrorism is not taught by the Q'uran, Jihad is any cause for God violent or not unlike the Christian Crusades. The current Terrorism is taught by corrupt leaders of the Islamic Church. Men who have perverted the word of God for their own purposes one of which happens to be kill the great satan (the US)

Wow, you are teh dumb.
There's lots of violent stuff in just about every religion, because nearly any statement can be interpreted as a call to violence by those looking for an excuse for thuggery. Sikhs and Hindus in India, Christian "militias" in the US, Mormon polygamous enclaves where girls are basically slaves - not to mention the rich and ongoing history of religious-based wars. Essentially, one must conclude that either all religions are inherently violent, or none of them are.
That's part of why I'm an Atheist - at least when the godless are dicks, they're a bit more honest about it.
