As well as you know, there is a celebration for them (Talibans)that he finally made an attack to USA, so I think that if we forgive him, he will not stop doing those things. I personally, for religion believes, forgive him, but I do not think the states will, so Thats my opinion if you are in some kind of religion, inside you know that you can forgive, but it is hard to live being always in-fear with whats going to happen today you know, so thats my opinion.
I don't really care either way about bin laden. To hate him or to forgive him is giving him a reaction. It's been almost a year now, they havn't found him yet and they probably won't. So, by now, to still be spiteful is just giving him the reaction he wants. Wouldn't removing his face from the news **** him off more than making him a celebrity, even if it is in a negative way?
I can forgive him. I can forgive him because I believe hating him will get us nowhere.
He killed 3000 people in one day. So what? Sure, it was a case of mass murder...but people have managed to kill more than 3000 people before (the Troubles in Northern Ireland are a great example, or the Civil War in Saudi Arabia) what makes bin Laden so much worse than any other person whose killed? Just because he killed 3000 people in less than a day? I think we're gonna have to come up with a better reason than that.
1820 Dec. 26. "The disease of liberty is catching; those armies will take it in the south, carry it thence to their own country, spread there the infection of revolution and representative government, and raise its people from the prone condition of brutes to the erect altitude of man." (to Lafayette, Ford 12.190)
i believe that if you cant communicate your ideas through words and have to use murder to make your point then you are being lazy. why cant these guys just sit down and talk this stuff out?
maybe he thought he was doing the right thing but it appears to me that he doesnt think the same way as most of us...but what do i know.
he did make his point...but he will get what is coming to him.
quote:terrorists kill people to kill people, no other reason.
i disagree. if that was the case, then bin laden and his group would target indiscriminately. instead, they are hell-bent on killing americans because they believe that we have wronged them and that we threaten their survival. i don't think that bin laden decided to orchestrate a terrorist movement just because he gets off on killing people.
I dont see how anyone could have ever forgive that guy. Those freaks killed people for no purpose but to better them selves. They are they worst kind of people. They are the devils they hate you and always will. I cant belive people would actually forgive them. They should be wiped for the earth!!!!!!!!!!!
most of you are just well mean. my dad died in the Twin towers, you know what the first thing i did when i found out. i went to church you know what i did, i cired, after i cried i forgave all behind it. of all the people you think i would be mad, i mean i never get to see my dad again, but you know waht else, i know that the people who destroyed the twin towers didnt do it to kill with no purpose they died for something they believed in, something most americans have forgotten is just that, to believe in something so much they are willing to die for.
Italian Stallion, you once again shut your stubborn eyes and refuse to see my point. DID I SAY ANYTHING ABOUT MY HOME IN MY POST? NO, I DID NOT. Circle One is made up of the closest people to your HEART. I did not say one finger-flipping thing about "harboring a known terrorist in my home", to quote your eloquently spoken language.
And may I just ask what the he11 you have against me and ALL my beliefs? EVERY SINGLE POST I have put on here (meaning the site) about my beliefs, you come on and write, (read in whiny voice, a la Eric Cartman) "BirdyGirl, you are insane to believe that, I cannot believe you believe that, how could anybody be so naive," and all this other frigging crap. That is a direct attack against me. Read the post "Personal Attack Language" in Randomosity. You attack the idea, not the person behind it. And don't try to back me into a corner with "well, you're attacking me! whine whine whine!!" You have attacked me many times first, and according to your 'rules' about battle, I should strike back the way George W. did against Bin Laden. Sorry if you don't like this post and my rotten attitude towards you, but "you've got it coming to you" (your quote). I mean, I'm just dutifully trying to obey your frigging rules like you want everybody in the world to do. :P
No Peace,
Birdy
P.S.: How does your little 'rule' feel to you now?
yes, i'm sure that the deliberate targeting and subsequent murdering of civilians is a big cry for attention and help - maybe we should try to understand the real bin laden, the one behind the maniacal, psychotic, murdering terrorist. pffft.
i'm fully prepared to hate bin laden and will never forgive him because he's one side of the terrorism equation. however, i don't hold america blameless in today's terrorism-filled world. we've done some terrible things, and we'll continue to do terrible things. and terrorism will continue against us because of our actions. unfortunately, the other side, the american side, is extremely well-hidden so all of our hatred is conveniently directed against bin laden.
