Is it just me or can you not have a war on something that doesn't have a home country? Just a random thought, I figure might spark some conversation.

I'm skeptic on the whole idea of the "War on Terrorism", somehow it just seems like complete bullshit

I sure hope so... dunno why but seeing the current mentality i doubt a change of government will be an improvement. I'm skeptic on the capacity of american politicians to manage a nation that has so much global influence without f*cking up again.

What he have here is a he thinks, she thinks game... well I'll tell you all what right now, It doesn't matter who thinks what is right for America. All the old people that have gone and screwed this up are a minority... we will fix it... and we will punish them for the mistakes they made.

Exactly. What he THINKS is right may not actually be what is right for this country.

You know I paid 14% of my pay this year to the government, and 4% of that was to programs I dont need, or am eligable for.

Without government unemployment pay, I probably would have been living in a cardboard box my first year in Washington, when there were no jobs for my dad to get. Welfare and the sort is justified, but I won't deny that some people take advantage of the system, which just makes it worse for the people who really need it.

Now who's slinging petty insults there are places that will help these people, but they just take a goverment hand out. I don't pay taxes yet but when I do I don't want my cash going to some bum on the street that doesn't do crap, what the money the should do id help them get jobs so they can become a functioning member of society not just hangin on the streets livin on goverment cash And I personally don't think you've been near any of these people at all. I have been on the street with these people, I've feed them at the soup kitchens and I think I have a better idea of their problems then some stuck-up rich-ass canadian who's probally never seen a poor person.

Yeah, I'm sure there's no-one on the street who requires mediation they can't afford, or suffers from a debilitating, untreated trauma. Or can't get a job because they don't have a phone number to put on a job app. Or can't get a job because they have nowhere to clean themselves, so they may look presentable to a potential employer. The depth of your idiocy, ampmaster, apparently knows no bounds.

War on Terrorism? An interesting yet simple subject... Idiocracy. Its pointless. Bush seems to have it in his head that we as Americans are perfect yet we have people on the streets starving because apparently theres not enough money nor food for all of us. How is this perfect? We go in to a country we have no power over, people who live in poverty and say their the problem. They terrorise us for being who they are, for having their own religion. Am i mistaken or did we not find any nucular weapons in Iraq? Im pretty sure we have not. But what does that matter to a power hungry president. He's out for control and if those with the power do not take matters into their own hands, we will plumate into turmoil. Stand up people! We cant sit around and watch the world fall to pieces

quote: Soldiers are trained to shoot on sight? What the hell unit are you in? The last time I checked, soldiers were expected to at least attempt to differentiate between combatants and civilians.
we try but if they may be a threat in a combat zone we plug'em the lives of the men in the unit matter more than the enemy's lives and preserving their lives while carrying out mission objectives is priority. I'm not gonna let some ass shoot an RPG at me just cause I'm not sure if he's a bad guy or not, that's not just stupid, it suicide
