We are "over there" because we can't just walk away after booting one madman out of another, just so another can take his place. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.
BTW, Clinton had done his job and enforced the Gulf War Resolution, Bush would not have had to fix this problem as Hussein would have been gone. Unfortunately, he didn't. And Clinton also believed and had intel that said Hussein had WMDs. And, if he'd been around another four or eight years, as far as we know, Saddam would have had that much more time to develop and test them. Clinton just didn't give a s---. Bush does. And whatever you may think of Bush on other things, at least he gives enough of a s--- to put his presidency on the line and do what needs to be done.

Malibu, I think you are mssing the point. It is not our place to go through the world riding it of everything that we think is wrong. Even if we wanted to get rid of Saddam because he was a threat to us, he's gone now, so why are we still over there? They don't want us there and it is not our place. The U.N. didn't think there was cause for us to go to war and aren't they supposed to be the one's who keep safety throughout the world?
A suspicion is no reason to go to war. We were not in immediate danger from Iraq either. Terrorism is what Bush claims to have been fighting, but may I ask why don't we hear anything about Bin Laden anymore? I thought he was who we were concerned about? Saddam didn't plan the attack for 9/11 and that's what sent Bush on this worldwide rampage.

lilpunkergrl4u....omg how naive are you? look at something besides the candidates religions and how devoutly they follow them when making decisions. bush fucckked up the world and people like him because he's christian...religion has nothing to do with how good of a president someone is. grow up all of you.

how can you hate bush? why do you hate him? all he has done is taken out to evil regimes and made the American economy even stronger. kerry is so wishy washy he just lets his party push him around instead of standing up for what he believes in. who were you rooting for that maniac dean?

Bush should just DIE!!! Too bad he didn't choke on that pretzel... Okay, I resent that, now I come off as an evil person. But I hate Bush. I hope Bush doesn't win the election this year. Vote for Kerry??? That seems like the only choice I would have if I could vote but sadly, I don't like him. He disappoints me. He wasn't the Democrat I was rooting for. But hey, what's done is done. Vote "Anyone good besides President Bush and Al Sharpton" '04!!!!!!

Yeah, we really need a pro-abortionist allowing the killing of our OWN American citizens. Bush has done a great job in the pro-life situation by passing the partial birth abortion ban and appointing pro-life officials. Kerry is an two-facer without any morals.

by the way...
Kerry should just DIE!
Once he gets in office, he'll crack. He CANNOT handle such a dignified position, just like Gore could NOT have. I'm sure glad the people of the electoral college are smarter than those damn liberals who let Gore win the Popular Vote...what the hell were you fu<kers thinking?

Even if we didn't find any nukes the suspicion was there. We had every right to go check it out if we might have been in danger. It's like a mother defending her child, Bush is like the father of our country and it was his duty to protect us; that is what he did, and at this point why leave? we have gotten rid of the biggest threat: Saddam.

who the hell cares what religion John Kerry is as long as it doesn't effect the way he runs the country. he is a way better candidate to be the next presedent than Bush could ever hope to be.
VOTE KERRY '04!

Yes Malibubaribie. you are correct, seeing as we have found so many nuclear weapons.
Now the question is, are you sensing the sarcasm?

are you capable of thinking for yourself, instead of listening to propaganda? Even the libs have dropped this phony argument. If the Iraq War had anything to do with oil, then why are we paying record-high gas prices across the nation? In case you haven't noticed, these $2+ a gallon prices DO NOT reflect well on Bush, and the Dems have already turned this into a political issue. Bush could virtually guarantee himself re-election if he could drop the price of gas to $1.25 or so a gallon, and one-up Kerry at the same time. But, a lot of voters are blaming Bush for the high prices (or, really, not doing anything about them.) Furthermore, bear in mind that it was actually leaders of the anti-war crowd that were getting bribes from Saddam Hussein. So, for them, the Iraq War really was about oil!. They obviously didn't want their bribes to stop coming.

Reality check, BUSH (worthy of ALL capitals) has passed the partial-birth abortion ban, which is SAVING hundreds of thousands or lives. Don't even think Kerry would save more lives in office. Kerry would pass it back into law and elect a pro-abortioner into the senate (Which is the last thing we need). Quit complaining about the war - we got Sadam out! You can argue all yuo want, but Bush is saving more lives the he is "costing."

how could anyone be willing to vote for bush(He doesn't deserve a capital!)? All he wanted was the oil that was in Iraq. The fact that thousands of people died over that is not acceptable. You said your brother was in the war fighting, but don't you realize that while he's out there losing an arm or a leg, suffering for the rest of his life, bush is sitting in a big chair relaxing! What is your brother fighting for? Weapons of mass destruction? Where are they? Who is he looking for Bin Laden? Still? Oh yea but we caught Saddam right? At first he wasn't even a part of the picture at first! He has the soldiers making decisions of morality by making them be exposed;naked, telling the hostages they would be shot! People are being dragged through the streets and your sitting here talking about how your proud of this contry and that he is doing the right thing! The people that died were not even really recognized. A photographer took a picture of all the caskets and Bush fired the man because he didn't want that to get out in the news. But the truth will come out, and so did that picture! Bush is trying to make things better for our country right? He's making them worse. It's funny how you know that you could lose your brother, along with the others that died and family members that were lost, knowing that bush is wrong, yet, you're still willing to vote for him. It's a shame!!

Gee, I'm glad that there's not a single liberal Catholic on the planet...
I was just making a comment on the sad state of the term "punk" today. I don't NEED to make any comments about lilpunkergirl, she's sad enough already.
Could you give me a quote from Kerry where he says that if Mary had received an abortion there would have been no crucifixion?
