We are not at war, and it is a joke to even say that we are. We have invaded Afhanistan and Iraq, and what did they do to us? Absolutely nothing! The 911 attack was caused by a group called the TALIBAN. Not an entire country!

Yes...because those Jews totally didn't have the whole UN behind them. Those dirty Hebrews... If you want to blame anyone, blame the British, who essentially created Israel. Or better yet, blame the Arab nations, who completely destroyed the UN's plan to separate British Palestine into equal parts for both the Jews and the Palestineans. The Arab world is just as much to blame for Israel as Israel is. And terrorism has much deeper roots than just that. Try capitalism, which is diametrically opposite the beliefs of Islam. The corruption of the West is why the terrorists hate us. They claim it's Israel, but it's much, much more than that.

And since u.s. is the biggest ally of the now illegal name "israel" people thought the y were justified to go after america. which is wrong. sicne i love america. israel is the terrorists. they are the reason we are in tons of wars now. only reason.

Between them yes. There are many kinds of war big wars and small wars and that is one from a certain point of view.

So when cops corner an armed suspect who takes a potshot at them and ignites a firefight...that's war? This is war in the loosest sense, meaning there is fighting between two or more groups over some resource or belief. It is not war in the official sense, which makes it legal. Without a declaration of war, it's illegal. Anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of history knows that.

Yes it does.

I think DrStrangelove is right. Even if we haven't said it's a war, it certainly is. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

No declaration of war, no official war. Shooting at people and getting shot at does not make it a war.

And umm, I think that my 130,000 bretheren in Iraq would strongly disagree with your assessment that we are not at war.
At last we agree!
