Well, for one thing, he and the GOP immediately pushed a bill to give emergency assistance to the families of victims, while the Democrats obstructed that law well into January 2002. I expect this bit of dirt to be brought up by Bush's campaign sometime during the summer.

Please explain how Bush "helped the people who lost loved ones" during September 11th, because I have no idea what you're talking about.

i dont no who i want as president. But you have to take a few things into account when voting.
1. 9/11 Who helped the people who lost loved ones? Bush.
2. Iraq war Who started it? Bush.
3. Schools Who made laws that allow every child an education (not to mention gave us yearly tests)? Bush.
4. Who could have possibly known that 9/11 was gonna happen? Bush.
I'm not old enough to vote yet but all you out there who are listen to what i said.

Being anti-war is not Kerry's only problem, even though he's obviously not willing to defend America from modern threats. Kerry's anti-military, wants to eliminate peoples' right to defend themselves and their families with firearms, and raise taxes. So far, Kerry hasn't defined himself otherwise, and I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt.
However, if Kerry follows the usual liberal party-line crap, he will also: support throwing more money at schools without fixing the internal corruption (Read: NEA) problems first, he'll support turning more murderers and rapists loose on the streets because jail is so "cruel", oppose tougher sentencing for criminals using guns, strengthen the DMCA, which makes the Patriot Act look like a civil libertarians' dream. I could go on for hours and hours - and cite his voting record - but I'll leave it at that.

Ahhh, so little real Kerry debate...considering Kerry's only real problems are where he's not liberal enough, but all someone as ****ed up as NuShoes can bring up is being anti-war. OH NO! ANTI-WAR?!?!?!?!

But you gotta admit, without the name calling it wouldn't be as fun or interesting.

I don't want him to be reelected, but I think that the name calling between the republicans and democrats is so juvenile. Just argue your point and you shouldn't bash the other side.

OK. I dont want to make anyone upset and I'm not trying to bash other peoples opinion but....Why does bush STILL have people in iraq? Our goal was to capture Saddam Insane, right? And he has been captured! Yet we are still in iraq. What? Does bush want all of saddam's suporters dead to? Because thats what it looks like. *****Kikyanna******* I know, I know. When I signed up I forgot the "Y" (Anyone got a problem with that? I WILL FIND YOU!) lol null

Because he is the infinitely better alternative to John Kerry.
It's still hard to believe that a vitriolic, anti-war radical, who may have had at least some ties to violent groups, could even run for president. And I'm being quite kind in not bringing up other aspects of his past.
Yeah, there are better people than Bush or Kerry. Unfortunately, none of them ran, and the way politics is looking in America, the best people are either too poor or too scared to run. It's become such a dirty business, and most people don't want to live under a microscope.

Uhhh...okay, so we have it that Bush is not the villain of a cheesy slasher movie...but can you give a single reason why he should be the President of the United States?

To all the Anti-Bush people:
Don't call me ignorant for supporting Bush. Do you actually think that Bush would WANT to kill a bunch of 18 yr olds and send our country down the drain? If thats what you are thinking then YOU are ignorant.

let's settle this once and for all, shall we boys and girls? put all your bill maher and fox news behind you, and solve our petty differences:
our god-fearing-bible-hugging-white-facist-supremicist-gun-toting-anti-choice-big-brass-belt-buckle-with-"Big Tex"-written-on-it president has done plenty for us in the past four years!
he has once and for all made a tax cut which successfully made the rich richer and the poor poorer. he somehow created a deficeit over 400 billion dollars, when we had a 40 billion dollar surplus before his presidency even began. he started up plans for a police-state-type government for iraq withing 2 days of taking office. he systematically killed over 500 of our fellow americans in the current war. he began the same war without the consent of the UN, and now asks for another 80 bllion dollars to continue the war. he has assured our generation that not only will there be a second income tax, but also that we will not have any type of social security when we hit 65.
and shall we start on the oil slicks in iraq? or the forceful threat to turkey to allow us to hold US troops within it's borders? or the ban he plans to put on gay marriage? or the arms he's been shipping to Israel to fight against Palestinians (remember them?)? and most importantly, the fact that his administration knew about terrorist attacks before they happened.
yes as you can see, Bush would be great for another 4 years! i personally would love t see what kind of chaotic state he can possibly conjure that outdoes this world of terror and carnage.

Why don't you grow up and start actually discussing things, not just starting a fight with everyone on here that doesn't see your view.
