calm down redrepublican. iceland barely made a comment about the israel palestine and youre bashing him for it, why not what i wrote. i think in what i wrote i said somthing about that. see we as americans are already biased to israel, of any nation we give aid to they are the greatest recipient.

i do not believe fox gives an honest opinion on news seeing as it has a strong republican view and bleives that only scandalk and war make the headlines. watch NBC! cnn too has trouble with their reporting sometimes. they try to show both views of the situation. but how it ends up is some palestinians burning an israel flag vowing revenge and some israelis that were just hit by a terrorist attack.

the only way you will get the REAL feeling for how things are is to go there yourself. its true you could read thousands and thousands of pages of literature on it but you may still not know every thing on it. and im sure thus is the case of you redrepublican. and so is the same as me. i educate myself about the issues and talk with israelis and friends that have lived there. i only hope to visit. have you ever been to israelor palestine?

The only thing I know about the topic is that I don't know enough about it. For example; I have so rarely seen or heard or read about the situation from a Palestinian point of view. And since in general the U.S. is pro-Israel and with these recent developments every Arab is a damn, dirty, terrorist maniac; so I don't trust media enough to be unbiased in this matter to have a strong opinion.

i myself am jewish and feel a strong connection to israel. for this upcomming year i am trying to go and study over there. but the real thing is is that we are forigners to the land, the subject, the violence and everything. we really dont have a grasp for who is wrong and who is right; what we feel is based on what we see in the media.

now, as far as im concerned israel is justifed in defending itself and fighting back when there is a terrorist attack. think, its almost shabbat and you're walking home. all of a sudden boom a terrorist blows himself up right outside a pizza parlor. your child dies as a result of the blast. why, why was my child killed for no reason? just because some people want some land? give me a reason for why i should burry my own son!

i feel that terrorism is no way to bring about peace. i do not condem every palestinean, only those who bring about chaos. i do not condem every israeli for defending themselves and living in fear. neither do i condem anyone else or the guy up above. there is nothing more that i want to see than the peace of israel. notice, if you look at a mp of israel there are OCCUPIED territories.

now, has terrorism been going down in the last couple of months, it seems like it but i cant be sure. is israel justified in building a fence, in most respects. is israel at fault if an innocent child is killed, yes. are the terrorists responsible for every life they take, yes. will there ever be peace in the middle east, there are only 6 million jews and the number is only going down, so lets see in 2 thousand years. do i want there to be peace, yes.

i have to say i am determined to go to israel either way, terrorism or not. just looking at the faces of all the people on a poster that have died as a result of the attacts is heartbreaking. i dont think we should point the israelis out as bad guys for what they are doing. read up on some literature from the Anti-Defamation League, Aish, or a news provider.

you cannot hope for peace in the middle east. it will not happen. the arabs just become more and mor greedy. the israelites gave them land because no ione else would and now the plaestinians turn on them and start bombing them.
peace attempts have been literally blown out of the sky by terrorist insurgetns.
the next time there will be peace in the middle east is when a man rises up from some powerful country perhaps even israel and states a 7 year peace treaty and then a whole mess of things start to happen.

VoiceofAmerica, you are hardly what your name says you are. First of all, thats not the truth. The land was going to be given to the arabs by the Brits, the Isrealis gained it after the ship Exodus went and a critical movie was made. And second of all, if you are going to bring acient history in to place, Saladin's (Muslim) Army captured Jerusalem from the Jews and Christians.

Israel has a right to the land that they claimed in building the wall. In the Begining, the Jews were going to get all of Palestine as well as Jordan. Then the Brits gave Jordan up to the Arabs due to immigration into the area. That was supposed to be the solution, but the Arabs keep (kept) grabing. It's only until the Israelites are allowed to defend thier homeland and any terrorist are kept from touching Israeli soil that peace will be acchived.
