I am in middle school, and me and a ton of people believe the war in Iraq and Afganistan were just plain wrong. I agree that 9/11 was horrible, and i never want it to happen again. I think that the war might have been OK if Bush had gotten international support, or proof that Saddam and the Taliban were directly trying to attack the U.S. However i think the "preemptive strike" that Bush employed was just wrong. I think that what Saddam and the Taliban did was definatly horrible, but the way that Bush started a war, lost international trust, and killed ever more people, was just wrong.
Opinions anyone?

if Bush loses respect from countries like France and Germany than he really didnt lose any thinf because their respect means jack. those countries are no better than the terrorists themselves. BUSH WAS PROTECTING AMERICA BY GOING TO WAR WITH THOSE REGIMES. i cannot stress this enough. they posed significant threats to America.
there will be deaths in war. but most of the civilian deaths were caused by iiraqqi insurgents who blow up themselves or cars. they are commiting the civilan casulaties.

I respect your opinions, but I am saddenedd to say you are wrong. Saddam needed to be taken out of power, he was very cruel to his own people, murdering thousands of them, he also had interests in WMD and even the UN said we needed to get rid of him, but they wanted to negotiate and it was taking to long and finally Bush decided to attack rather than let Saddam keep building up his defences. As for the Taliban we attacked them to punish them for haroboring osama Bin Laden, which made them equally responsible for 9-11. The Media wants us to believe that thousands have been brutally murdered in Iraq and we have no right being there, what they won't tell America is that we have built schools, hospitals, rebuilt the Iraqi Army as well as a large police force. They now have Emergency workers like paramedics and firemen and we have also set up radio towers, and power lines so that the whole country can have power and not just the large cities. Either way you look at it we have done a lot of good in the world. Afghanistan and Iraq are free and we have ended the threat of more than one evil regime.

Sincerely,
