Terrorists have just beheaded a South Korean civilian. It is now obvious that terrorists are not just fighting a war against the US, but a war against the free world.

Fully Story

trust me if it was my bro or sister that there head decapitated, i would want the heads of those who comitted it. but i would not want death on every inhabitnt of teh Midle East. There are inhabitants over there that hate terorists more than we do and want to see them hung in their local town. which might even happen to Saddam when we give him to the Iraqis.

My family is a rainbow. We also have family members from Korea. To know that your own country where you pay taxes, raise your families, call home will not lift a finger to help is crazy. This beheading is cruel and barbaric yes, but also knowing that no one really will help is also cruel and barbaric. The U.S. did everything they could to rescue their own, why not everyone helping this family? The greater isn't always the best. These people will continue their 'terror' because all those troops over there are obviously not working out. When they hand over power, I believe things are gonna still be horrible.

How would you like someone kidnapping your brother or sister and cutting their heads off? Everyone can talk about what they think or their opinions, but until it happens in your family you'll never know. Now, my family is trying to help their extended family members over there in Korea because unlike the people over here, they are living it and they are so shocked and traumatized. This country is only looking out for its own interests in the long run. They want us to think they are protecting us, but why didn't they protect us on 9/11? They knew about all this stuff when G.W. Bush Sr. was in office and now they want us to think this stuff just started.

I'm glad my family is big on education and learning about politics, economy, current events, international affairs because if they didn't I would be so ignorant to the truth.

Rest in Peace my fellow Korean Brother.

we cannot bow to the terrorist's wishes. they have ten more hostages or at least they say they do. if we gave them what they want in exchange for one hostage, what makes you think they arent going to ask for somthing else with the next hostage and the next one?
look at my previous post. once we are out of tehir the Iraqi governemnt is ereally going to start cracking down on these insurgents they wont take any chances of a coup or an overthrow.

'President Bush condemned the killing. "The free world cannot be intimidated by the brutal actions of these barbaric people," he said'...culled from cnn.com
That, people,is not enough from a person who took a sole decision on 'salvaging' Iraq.Did you see the pains on the faces of the deceased's parents. They don't care whether the coalition is trying to subdue the insurgents..Don't you get it,this not a battle for Iraq,No,it's a battle for their so-called 'freedom'.For years, they have waited for confrontation against the US,now they got it.
It's like every Arab child born is instilled with the conviction that The US is evil thus makes all of them are highly potentialm terrorists.

An excellent point Red. The terrorists would like nothing more than for us to not leave before our self-imposed withdrawl deadline. Too bad they don't realize the Iraqi Leaders do not want our military to leave because they fear for chaos. But we will ensure stablity on time, and leave, despite the wishes of terrorists.

heres my two cents,
You know why the increase in insurgent attacks and beheadings are happening right? its because they want the US to postpone the June 30 handover. The US would be shot down immediately if we imposed harsher policies with insurgents. (not by insurgents but by critics of the uS aroud the world) they would start yelling that it wasnt right or somthing. when this handover occurs, the Iraqi government is gonna start to impose much harsher policies to deal with the insurgents. and the insurgents dont want that.

You (the coalition) fight against freedom of speech, so I don't think you should post articles about freedom. Roll Eyes
