I know I already posted this earlier, but damn this is a good read. The Nationquote: The upcoming military operation also has one objective, though different from the several offered by the Bush Administration. This war is not about weapons of mass destruction. The intrusive inspections are disrupting Saddam's programs, as even the Administration has acknowledged. Nor is it about terrorism. Virtually all agree war will spawn more terrorism, not less. It is not even about liberation of an oppressed people. Killing innocent Iraqi civilians in a full frontal assault is hardly the only or best way to liberate a people. The underlying objective of this war is the imposition of a Pax Americana on the region and installation of vassal regimes that will control restive populations.

I don't see the connection. Terrorist? Many countries are recognized as terroristic countries, wanna bomb them? Yeah I agree,it's involved with the "history". Besides I do not believe the world can keep you safe.

O.K. I'm going to give you this reference just once. You are not doing your own homework on this matter.
Go to winwithoutwarus.org which is one of the highly touted references you have mentioned in your attempt to flood US senate and congresstional office with "junk mail," "junk email," and "junk faxes." You are talking against the wind!
Look up the reference to NAACP. Refer to the NAACP polls particularly #4: "Will the Department of Homeland Security Help or hinder other counter-terror programs?" READ the comments made by people.
And look at some of the other pool listed there, including #11: "Did President Bush Make a Case for Military Action in Iraq?" Whether you agree with these people or not, the point in fact is that there is a "history" with Iraq now and our U.S. government position and foreign policy decisions toward Iraq is based on that --history--.
