Pressure of a possible US and Soviet invasion is enough, whether the US dropped the bomb bevause it saw no other choice, or because it wanted to test its new weapon is unknown.

1.8 million german soldiers invaded russia, had those troops been in europe then the allied invasion would not have succeeded.

The other matter, the subject of Japan has been discussed in detail, however there is a large argument to suggest japan would have surrendered whether the bomb was used or not, and without the need for an invasion.

Like it or not america saved europe in WWII thats a fact japan wouldnt have surrendered if truman hadnt decided to use an iron fist against the japanese emperor i dont know what would have happened. And please britain and russia did well but without american help would not have won.

So many more than just Jews were gassed. People tend to relate the Holocaust to just the Jewish but its not just them. Jews, Serbs, Poles, Russians, Communists, homosexuals, gypsies, the mentally ill and the physically disabled, intelligentsia and political activists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Roman Catholics, and Protestant clergy, trade unionists, psychiatric patients, Africans, Asians, enemy nationals, common criminals, people labeled as "enemies of the state", rich and liberal dissidents we all victims of the Holocaust. Basically if you were not Ayran and you were not healthy or "normal" you were taken away to concentration camps.

this attitude is extremely offensive to europeans, If it is one attitude problem europeans hate about americans is their delusion that they saved the world in ww2, do not forget the sacrifice made by other countries in the war, by no means did america defeat the nazis single handedly, and neither is it certain the germans would have won had the americans not intervened.

britain defeated germany in the battle of britain, liberated italy and north africa, russia lost millions fighting in the east and this i believe is the greatest reason for nazi failure.

we are all very thankful for the help of america in liberating europe, but do not believe it was done single handedly.

wasnt it guering or another high ranking nazi who got hitler interested in the ocult? this was the driving force behind the holocaust, however recently some nazi bibles were found, a rendition giving a new list of commandments one of which was loyalty to the fuhrer. The holocaust was very real and no matter what anyone says America stopped it. If we had not stepped in the Nazis would have won and obliterated France and the rest of Europe.

Why would any one NOT believe this is real? Yes there are several facts and there are so many eye witness accounts and that generation is still living. My great grandmother was living her in the United states when it happened, but she still heard the news reels. She has lived through so much for being born in 1911 and she still remembers most of her life. I honestly dont know how anyone can say this was made up? Why would any one LIE about so many people dying?!
