I think we'd be MUCH more likely to elect a woman as pres before a gay person. The religious community would freak if an openly gay person ran. And we're becoming much more open to women in high offices. So it's possible... although I think Hilary would have a better chance if she didn't have Bill.

A gay or bisexual president? I doubt it. A female president? Maybe, but probably before a gay one.

Wrong answer... J. Edgar Hoover was a transvestite... The vast majority of transvestites fancy women... a transvestite told me so (see Eddie Izzard)

I have to wonder why it matters that a minority is represented in the executive branch... I mean, sure I'm a white male and such, but I'm a homosexual as well and I don't find any real NEED for it. The executive's position is one that should be achieved through their platform; this shouldn't be some kind of affirmative action government. Oh yeah - quote: Why not a gay female president? With a good platform, I'd vote for Ellen.

Why not a gay female president?
Of course, in a perfect world, things like sexuality and color, gender, etc would not matter. Then again, if the world was fair poor people could be president too... and our votes would actually count instead of being contorted and changed by the powers that be... So, I guess we'll have to suck it up, accept reality for it is, and wait to see what fate brings us next. The next president can't possibly be worse than what we've already got anyway.

there's so much controversy over the rights of a gay person in americia today,it dosent seem a gay president is anywhere in our future, nor is americia ready to realese its stiff pattern of ellectin a stright white male president , it dosent look like we have a woman president in our future
