I haven't seen a gay, black, hispanic, woman... frontrunner that i've wanted to vote for yet. Nader had a chance and he was a jew i beleive. when one comes along that i like i'll vote for them, until then let's not have affirmative action in our political voting system. it is kind of weird that we don't have many women running tho. most western nations have had a woman prime minister or whatever... many black leaders in other nations as well.

If you want a gay, lesbian, female or non white as president, vote for one! Also it's always rich white guys who are president.

Well look at the social realities of the times before, and even now. If you understood them, it wouldn't be annoying, it would be acceptable. Things change, you can't blame people in the past for following the social norms.

And as for Hillary in 2008. Many say she's a good candidate, but I have a feeling the visceral hate of the Clintons by the Republican Party, her general evil factor, and of course, the fact that she's a woman will give her a run for her money later.

I know, because what does it take to when an election? It's not just getting your word out or whatever. It takes money. Money that does seem to belong to rich, white straight guys. Which is very true. But yes, Hillary Clinton would probably be the first canidate for first female president.

yes, it would be different. But that's another thing people have to get past. Not just if the president WAS FEMALE OR HOMOSEXUAL, BUT WHAT IF THE PRESIDENT WAS SOME OTHER RACE other than white. That would be different too. But as some people say, they think Oprah Winfrey would be a good canidate for first female president, and first black president.

I think that they will elect a woman before somone thats gay. You know what would be cool? A woman that is black and is a lesbian that is elected president. Well, maybe not "cool" but different. Very different.

I'd say that the nation would accept a female president(Like Hilary Clinton) before they would accept a gay one. Though there's nothing wrong with being gay.
