I see so many posts blaming American President Bush for starting this war with Iraq. Well, I'm actually happy to tell all of you that you all are completely and utterly wrong! Bush, after September 11th, 2001, [and Colin Powell] went to the U.N. and passed many resolutions, a couple having to deal with Iraq and them disarming. The US was big into setting dead lines, and I'll agree they kept [let's call it 'promoting'] Military action, BUT they made and tried to pass PEACEFUL RESOLUTIONS in the U.N. It just so happens that some countries, [France, China, Germany, and Russia (all of who were and still are making a lot of money from Iraq and Saddam)] decided to veto it. But, wait, weren't all the resolutions the US were trying to pass Peaceful? Yes, yes they were. Granted all of the resolutions had time limits on them, but there was still 30 to 50 days [of peace] where weapons inspector Hans Blix and his team could go in and inspect. [Wait, since this war began haven't the US and UK military forces found more then all the weapons inspectors combined, even one or more nuclear silos underground? Also, yes!] I always wanted war with Iraq, and I believe [still do] that it is the only way to get Saddam out of power, I also believe it will show the world not to screw with America, just like the two atomic drops on Hiroshima and Nagasaki showed the world. Saddam has been in power way to long, and for eight years [the Clinton Presidency] America and the world sat around doing nothing about the threat that is across the second biggest ocean. [I happen to like Clinton, he did a lot for America and all of it's people and it's economy and I saw passed the Monika thing, but he was weak in dealing with threats, he was a woose!] I'm glad we finally have a president that won't sit idly by and watch the world fall to these horrible leaders like Saddam, but will do something to protect America and the world.! [For all of those who are going to post replies saying I don't know what I'm talking about, or telling me that I'm wrong. Well, I know war is bad. I know that people, a lot of people, even some of our own will die, and I'm saddened by that. But once this war is over, and once all of us are adults and going to our daily jobs America will be safe, and all those who opposed this war will have to feel silly, because this war is making America and the world and safer place to live and grow up in. Also, I've been to and seen the Hiroshima memorial, and I've seen the damage war can do to towns and to generations of families. So, think before you post a reply telling me I'm wrong.]

Hmm hi I don't know what kept me read on because I've seen the arguments on this site ever since i registered...Agree with some of your opinions though, and I suppose either the protestors or the people for the war in the US are for your country Anyway as an un-american[once again i'm not anti-american],here's what i think: A war is just a war. It's nothing gracious. If Bush stood up,told this world he was doing for the US I wouldn't these things in mind against him.
"I also believe it will show the world not to screw with America, just like the two atomic drops on Hiroshima and Nagasaki showed the world." Darn right...And it's all good as a sovereignty in the world today...But Bush didn't declare. He seemed to be all about freedom and humanity.*coughs*
It's gone too far, hypocrisy has always been the first word coming to my mind when I heard Bush.He took out everything, the refugees the Iraqis the people even God,avoiding what he should be fighting for.At first he wanted to disarm Iraq, and then he changed his mind that he just wanted Saddam to leave,so the war started and Saddam didn't leave,Bush wanted to kill Saddam that he could finish the war sooner.Unfortuanlly Saddam appeared the next day.Alright then Bush wanted him no more,he said again, the war was in order to disarm Iraq.During the war when your troops chouldn't find the mass dectructions,Bush turned back saying he just wanted to kill Saddam and his rigime.Did he know what he really want to do?Why didn't he list all the reasons as the main reasons until the old reasons ran out? As in the UN,he always had something left to show the inspectors after his sulotion failed,if he only wanted to let the truth out he could've handed it in at first. He wanted nothing but the agreements of the war.Even according the proof you've showed the UN,your troops didn't find anything there. The troops found weapons "uncannily" somewhere they've never heard of,what does that mean? They didn't find proof they just thought Iraq had weapons so they must have it!Enter first think later.
Also this war was quite abrupt. Iraq'd been a threat to his neighbours and the US,but lately, has it become more dangerous? No.The US government didn't take care of him when he actually killed and the US used the veto against the profession about chemical weapons in Iraq years ago.Even when it *broke up* with the US government later and it became more intimidatory than right now,you didn't take the action. Why is it now? When Iraq and Iran started to cooperate and get on better, when Saddam was going down(yeah he's got 2 sons but the eldest one seems to be against him and the second one doesn't seem to be able),when Iraqis began to live better(than in the passed 10 years,it's said that the economy was increasing),when he opened to let the inspectors in,when the inspectors finally found something, when the world economy goes down, when Bush was busy with something not so nice... It's not about whether it's necessary to wait for more time,it's about why the US govenrment suddenly couldn't wait any more. That makes the "free Iraq" thing quite unwarrantable. Defending your country on somebody else's country sounds quite...but it's still better than "save Iraqis",I know many of the civilians in the US are thinking for the Iraqis, but Bush is a politician, the US govenrment isn't a charity,70 billion USD to save someone else doesn't sound right.Afghanistan last time asked for 20 billion for rebuidling and your government gave them your attitude and finally promised 200 million...Taking it as a motivation wasn't a good idea,if it turns out to be a result without being a main reason in the first place, this war will sound right.
I don't think it'll solve terrorism though. You beat Afghanistan, and so what?Your embassies were still attack,9/11 never happened again not because that you've done with the terrorists in this world,it's because you do more in your country... It's not worth it to solve it this way either. Is Saddam the only and biggest threat?Nope. You've got a long long black list if you are gonna solve it all this way.To take off a group of terrorists and you had to spend these lives and budget and bomb a country and even rebuild it,it's either dumb or not just for destroying terrorism.
China wouldn't use the veto.We usually disclaim instead of saying nay in the votes before unless it's involved our interst. There was only one country declared it would use the veto, think about the posibilities.Actuallt the Chinese govenrment were never strongly against this war,if they could they'd rather sit their azzes and shut up,as they had to say something it's all blah blah...like "we concerns...""we are afraid.....""we hope....."etc. This war is about everyone, including the Bush. Not to mention he has stocks in the company offering your troops weapons.Even the Guld war was a great deal. [i]In this world, nobody's innocent.[/]
I'm not in your position,as you knew that it's a muscle show, how would I nod happily and support you...The UN contains the most members in this world, someone has broken the frame so if problems happen again, how would it be?It's an example misleading people to take militant actions without limits.
Also this war was worse than anyone has expected.15 days is too freaky long.If Bush wasn't sure he wouldn't kill by so MANY mitakes couldn't he wait for himself to improve a bit? He should've known Saddam and his troops wouldn't stand in the desert you waiting for your bombers! He should've known Saddam would use civilians,he should've know Iraqis would go back and fight against him.And blaming for a well-known b!tch like Saddam for being b!tchy is ridiculous.Saddam kidnapped women, journalists and kids,is it the reason to bomb them then?If a terrorist hijacks a plane would you bomb the plane to kill the terrorists? If he has decided to do this just drop off saying "do anything to prevent civilians' death as possible"
K I'm done...I'm so done...
