guys are very obsessed with skinny and petite girls however there are some guys who are not that immature and go for more than just looks. (some, not many)

It really depends who you ask. I'm a heterosexual female and all, but I personally tend to find thinner women attractive. The are always exceptions though, for example my best friend isn't skinny but I think she is attractive.

It depends on what you consider skinny. If your talking ribs showing, no way. But if your talking they got a little bit extra, yeah its fine. And still theres those guys that like their "gfs" big.

to be honest air force women are often sculpted creatures... however while I refuse to say heavy set... I do like a full figured woman.

It's funny, but I understand why you're pointing this out. I date a Marine (in case someone didn't know by now) and I am a more heavyset girl (whenever I say I'm fat, my boyfriend says I'm not, that I'm just a little chunky). He was telling me about the Marine Ball that we will both get to attend for the first time this coming November and I said how I wanted to lose some weight before then because I'll feel gross. He asked why and I said, "Well I'm sure most of the girls that Marines date are thinner." And he totally proved me wrong - not only do many of the Marines he knows date heavier girls but some of the female Marines at his school are a bit heavyset (though, they have to meet PFT scores so they can't be too bad).

Take it from someone who knows. My boyfriend would not mind it if I were thinner but #1, that is not what he cares about and #2, he likes some things about my heavier weight such as the fact that I have a nice sized butt. So, there are boys who don't care one way or the other and some who even prefer to not date skinny skinny girls.

No, Males biologically are drawn to women who are healthy, so if a woman eats right, excercises, and has confidence in herself then she should thought very attractive. However, eating right and excercising often mean that you will end up being kinda skinny. And, of course, it depends on the woman and man.

Weight and dating... alas, such an interesting topic...

I'm a bigger girl, with my weight shifting between 175 and 190lbs, yet I really have no lack of suitors. It's likely due to my confidince, openness, and individuality.


I know that some guys find a bit of extra weight is a turn-off, but others find skinnieness as a turn-off. It all depends on the guy.

Besides, if somone truly loves you it should be for who you are, not what you look like! ^_^

My middle sister said it's because of their personality, that is why alot of big women get these really cute guys.

My weight has varied greatly in the past two year iv'e wieghed between 138 and 180 and I'll tell you I didn't notice any difference in the way guys acted towards me i still got guys i think it is all in how you present yourself as long as you are confident in yourself and don't let people see that your wieght is a problem to you they don't care just flaunt your stuff at any wieght and be sweet and caring the guys wont care about your wieght.

Hey my girlfriend is skinny but its not about that is about the personality. I hate how people make asuptions on "he is dateing her cause she is skinny". that is not always true. My girlfriend is all that i will ever need. Her beeing, "hot" to other guys, Beautiful to me is just a bonus. Her personality is that of an angel and thats what matters to me. If your "ugly" you will get a man that will treat you right in all due time.

Boys will be boys and just like girls, they like eye candy. But it is possible for a good looking guy to go out with an "ugly" girl. There are guys out there who can look past an image and see who a girl really is. And even if a girl is viewed as not skinny or ugly there is someone out there who thinks that you are hot. Heck, that was my case. I weighed 215 lbs and my bf kept telling me that i was hot. Well i did not believe that for the life of me! While dating him I ended up dropping my weight to 180 and I even had a baby. He still tells me that I look hot and even though I dont believe him, thats what he sees in me and that makes me feel good.

So ladies out there who dont think you can find a guy just because you are not "skinny".... someone thinks that you look amazing just how you are. Just have confidence in yourself and show it. If you carry yourself with confidencem no matter what size you are, you will be sexy and someone will notice you for the right reasons!
