*makes face* it could have possibly been me that said not to drink milk, but that's only because I think that it's gross, which is weird because I'm fine about cheese. Ever wonder who the first guy to drink milk was? Just, "hey, lets squeeze these things and drink whatever comes out". Someone said that to me and I think about it ever since.

OK. Whoever said to not drink milk is bull****ing. Thats why they make ONE PERCENT or SKIM Milk. For one week I drank two glasses of (one percent) milk (I was seriously full all day) and I lost a pound or two a day. Just eat things in SMALL portions and exercise a few times a week. You can even lose weight without exercise. 80 percent of weight lose/gain is based on WHAT YOU EAT. -Sunset

well i fink there is a chance.. i mean.. cmon.. not everyone is soo shallow.. and if they are .. then they are sooo not worth it.. i mean who would want to go out wif a guy only coz there hot.. ? okay maybe you did it once or twice.. but wen you find a guy whos got a really good personality and you just laugh at his corny jokes and always haf a gud time wen hes around.. seriously looks dnt matter... so yeah.. dw bout it.. i mean.. you wouldnt want a guy to just like you coz ur skinny.. but who you are inside.. it prolly sounds cheesy now.. lol.. yeah dw it took me a long time to understand too..  i mean haf you looked at my other posts? lol ohh btw wif your whole exercise regime thing (not fing.. lol..) i do like a 3 mile walk/run.. where i like do both together.. and i do a LITTLE bit of weights only to build muscles.. coz i dont like bulky muscles on me.. as im a girl.. altho some ppl prefer the bulkier muscles and i do about 400 crunches.. and wat i do is.. monday to friday is like my 'watch wat you eat' days.. like il haf only ONE thing thats a propper junk food .. either ice cream or some extra crackers.. but on weekends saturdays and sundays.. i pig out.. well not SO much but i let it slip a bit.. lol i mean i haf to live my life rite??

This site is, I'm sorry, completely sexist about claiming guys only like skinny girls, girls have to be skinny for guys to like them, ect. ect., but geez, girls are shallow too. The whole thing about being skinny if you're a girl, most people assume means you're more attractive. You shouldn't just like someone because of their looks, but it's the initial turn on, no one can deny that.

The motto may be good, but the advice is pretty pathetic. You dont work untilyou pass out, what kind of dumb *** does that? and you dont eat a lot of junk food and work out hard, you wont lose weight. You eat a moderate diet that contain nutrition and do a good exercise like 30 mins. to an hour. ilovemum, yes guys may tend to go for skinny girls, but in the end it all comes down to personality, chemistry and character. You're going to be spending the rest of your life with this person, unless you're a player, and beauty is temporarely. On the other hand if you're fat, bad personality and character, uneducated, shy then I'm saddly to say but you are reduce severely in finding a mate. Its competitive out there, you have to have something of value otherwise people wont even consider you  Survival of the fittest? not really.

If you work-out 'til you pass out, you're working too hard. Everything in moderation INCLUDES exercise. That was possibly the worst advice I've ever seen. If you over-eat, do the same exercises, but maybe do a few extra laps, or another set or two. Just don't over-eat. The pain isn't always temporary. God, that was the worst advice ever. Maybe pushing yourself works for you, AMF, but you're probably a little more experienced than other people looking for advice. DO NOT tell them to hurt themselves working out. The REAL motto is that if there's lots of discomfort, that's good. PAIN is not.

who cares if you work untill you pass out..........if you do that, youve had a damn good workout. and trust me after pushing yourself to the point of vomiting or passing out..30 min after you are done you will feel like you are some kind of superhuman who goes to the extreme. yes eat your poptarts...just make sure that when you balance it. if you are going to go extreme on junk food, go extreme on workout. working out till you ither vomit or almost pass out is awesome, it sucks physically and mentally, but there is a sweet satisfaction derived from it. you know youve pushed it if you do that. a good motto: The pain is temporary.... Of course it doesn't and it is my opinion that working out till you almost pass after eating a breakfast of poptarts isn't the best way to go through life. Eating poptarts for breakfast is like eating cookies for breakfast, quick sugar high then long sugar low.

bauhaus Just another note on your how to get in shape thing, poptarts are absulutely horiible for you! Try a smoothie (made with real fruit, yogurt and milk) and if you are quite hungry something else as well. And the rest of your thing is completly off base too. Hardly anyone would stick with an exercise plan where you are practically passing out!

Bauhausa) I never said anything about large bone structures, did I? I meant that people can be born "fat", chunky, etc. b) You misspelled caffeine...twice. And, though it is a stimulant, it does make weightloss more difficult (just like soda does). c) Your reply to my previous post makes me think that you think I'm overweight and lazy. FYI: I'm not overweight. I'm 5'6" and weigh 116. In fact, I'm trying to gain weight since I started getting the "anorexic "jokes from kids at school. And, I'm not lazy. I have been on my school's basketball team for two years straight.(That's nothing but running and shooting for two hours straight, six days a week.) I also participate in many after-school activities, including: drama, NJHS, and a student ambassador program. I'm also going to do track, basketball, and football next year. d) Blaming people being overweight on genetics? I didn't say that was the case with everybody, just said it was possible.

I don't think so. You should only push yourself so hard. Almost passing out won't help anything. If you do the workout you specified too many times a week, you could develop a constant headache. 500 sit-ups a day?! Are you insane?! How would taking in caffine make things harder? Cafine is a stimulant! All the weight loss pills are stimulants. Eat and Apple with a little thin slice of cheese with almonds. 500sit ups a day? no i'm not insane youre just lazy. You should be working out till your body is sore the next day. I'm pointing out weight loss isnt easy, and it takes 500situps a day. Most people will start a workout/diet and see no improvements over a month or two then give up and blame it on genetics like you have.
