I know what you mean all too well. It's even worse when you're a guy, as absolutely nobody wants a stick guy. Multi-layered clothing is your friend, obviously.

This is not true. I'm overweight and I have a boyfriend. He's *not* overweight, plays basketball on the varsity team, plays in the band (as do I), and takes honors/AP classes. He's also an awesome guy with a great personality and sense of humor.
So, don't think that guys only like skinny girls. Guys like girls mostly for their personality. Unless she's really great in bed, I doubt a guy would stay with a skinny girl if she has a horrible personality. The only guys that will only look at body-type and nothing else are shallow and you don't want to bother with them anyways.
And, besides, skinny doesn't always equal beautiful. Even though I'm a size 16, I think I'm pretty. And so does my boyfriend. When I complain about my size every once and awhile, he always tells me that I need to shut up because he likes the way I look. He's one of those guys who likes a nice butt and I have plenty of butt. It seems to happen that when you find a guy who matches your personality, you also find a guy who matches your body-type---my bf is extremely tall so even though he's not overweight, he's still a pretty big boy. So we fit together well.
Everyone can find someone like him. Just be yourself, and you'll find the right guy.

So if you aren't "skinny" do not get discouraged! There are honestly a good amount of guys out there who are willing to love you, no matter if you're a size zero, or a size 10.

I am very skinny. I mean, like toothpick skinny. Basically, I learned to scare boys of with brains. It is actually highly convenient plus, I can't date for another month and a half anyway. And do you know what the school people did? They scheduled Tolo ( fancy girls ask boys dance) on my 16th birthday. Okay, off on a tangent.
It doesn't actually have all that much to do with skinny in my opinion, just you willingness to give them what they want. You should probably read Gone with the Wind and take lessons from Scarlet O’Hara. She was the master flirt.
As you can tell, I am not that much into boys. There is nothing wrong with boys really, they just aren't worth my time at 15 or almost 16, whatever.
I'm not going to sugar coat this. There is too much of that these days... When it comes to most guys, it is mostly all about the skinny girls. Just face it ya'll! BUT, if you respect yourself, that is truly beautiful. If you take good care of yourself and always look your best, that is beauty. It is in the eye of the beholder. Have confidence in yourself, tak good care of your health, and live life to the fullest. It will not always be like that, most boys or men need to grow yet and realize that beauty is not BRITNEY SPEARS on Tv.

That is completely untrue. These days people are driven by what they see in the media. It does not mean that they are shallow, it is just part of our culture anymore. There is nothing worng with a guy wanting to date a skinny, beautiful girl. Unless they are making fun of others. Also you must think about the peer pressure of their friends...
hey yall out there(waves), yall like so need to get over your selves.i'm skinny & i have friends who are not the same size as me but are great people who wont leave me behind. While all the others left as soon as anyone with a higher social status showed up. and gusse what, they were fatter then me .I even went on a diet to lose some extra lbs(10_20) i did lose 10 lbs and was left at almost 90 lbs but still no one even glanced over, except the ones everyone else deemed fat. however suddenly i was getting sicker and wouldnt eat as much losing 5 more. by then i had 1 true friend left who was at that time was larger then me. she concluded that if i was on a diet she should be too. that got everyones attention and still i was left alone not bothered and wasting away.my self esteem got lower each day but who cared?Im not saying skinny people are ... well anything at all to be classified niether are any other people.im not saying you have to hang with certain people but maybe once in a while stay by your frieds in their time of need, even if it isnt quite so obvious to everyone else.
Some people are naturally big boned and some are big b/c they eat alot and don't have physical activity. I personally hit the gym at least twice a week and am about 20 lbs over my ideal weight despite my best efforts. Because I care about my health and looks I expect the same out of someone I would date. This is not a strictly male phenomenon, I have seen the girl magazines with pictures of dudes in them and even the dudes they portray as normal are in waaayyy better shape than me who works out religiously(male models usually). There are girls of all shapes sizes and colors that have equally attractive personal traits, why wouldn't I want the ones that I find physically attractive and vice versa? My current girlfriend is very stimulating emotionally and she is about 20-30 lbs over her ideal weight. She has a cute little beer belly type thing that she tends to hide with the way she dresses, but it doesn't bother me, just as my 20 lb little beer belly doesn't bother her. We are all pink on the inside.

Only shallow guys like girls that are skinny. If so, they're not worth your time. I hear that all the time from my friends...it drives me NUTS!!! they try going on diets...and they always ask me how i get skinny, and tell me i eat so much so how can i be so small. Some people just need to look at you for more enduring reasons than you're figure.
I hear this all the time from my friends I cant get a man because im fat or those group of boys only go with skinny girls. Like I tell them who cares there are plenty fish in the sea all you have to do is find one. I have a lot of curves so some boys atomaticallly think im fat with a glance but I aint all that skinny and i get plenty of men. OK, Jamaica, you're full of yourself. You act like you're Miss High and Mighty and that we are the Devil Children.
