I'm eight months pregnant with my first child. I am only 17 years old. It wasn't planned. I was so shocked and scared when I found out. At first I thought that my boyfriend, Jason would leave me the second he found out that I was pregnant. But he's been with me every step of the way. So has my identical twin sister, Melissa, my mom and my other sisters Amanda and Kylie. I am very lucky to have them. But my father will not have anything to do with me. He called me a **** and said he was ashamed to have me as his daughter when I told him I was pregnant. He refused to come to my wedding in 2004 on my 18th birthday (January 11th). At school, I have developed the reputation as Easy Makayla. I wish I could take back getting pregnant. It changed my life more than I can say. I'm expecting a baby girl and I need some help coming up with some names. Do any of you have any ideas? If you do, I would love to hear them! Thanks!

Yeah, I don't think most teen pregnancies are planned, but some are.

Generally speaking, teens aren't ready to be parents. Many adults aren't even good parents.

Well all the teen girls on Maury seem to try and get pregnant so that they will have a baby, because, usually, the offspring feels obligated to love the parent. So the girl will have someone who loves her. But no, I don't think most girls plan pregnancies, but at the same time, most of the girls that I know who are having sex aren't trying to prevent it. They think that by smoking pot they're sterile, or that they just can't get pregnant. Doesn't it always seem that the people who should not be reproducing, are?

Most don't plan to get pregnant, they juts don't think about the consequences of premarital sex. Also, if you do purposely get pregnant when you're a teenager, you're not very smart because that is not the way to keep someone around.
