I have a major problem. My friend got a ride home from a guy yesterday after school who she thought was really nice, fact is he raped her. She told her boyfriend and he's about as friendly as a grizzly now. Me I just want to find the guy and give him a piece of my mind and maybe a few hits too. All I know is she did not deserve to get raped, and the guy that raped her deserves to die. Someone tell me another way of solving this cause me and 4 other guys are going to hunt him down. Oh here's what we have tried already.

1. We spread the word not to get rides with him
2. We told the school psychologist and the SRO (school resource officer)
3. We got a bunch of her friends to walk with her to and from class.

Any help would be appreciated.

My best friend was raped in her house last year by some guy who claimed he was seventeen, was in actuality twenty two, got her drinking, and slipped ecstacy in her drink. She was fourteen. And believe me, I wanted to cut off his genitalia so he could never do something like that again. So I know how you feel...but...

"Hunting the guy down" will only make things complicated.

And what's this **** about HER having charges pressed on her? That is not only insane, but completely ridiculous!

There's no possible way that they can do that. I'm curious about that now and I think I shall do research, but I'm pretty sure that rape is rape no matter what the age. You're being a good friend for her, but I agree that she'll need counseling. It will help loads.

I think u r a great friend for being there for her. That's the only thing that can be done, as well as accepting the fact that most rapes don't get prosecuted, and even if they do the guy normally gets off free. Police and judges often side with the men. Especially since it's a minor whose male. Just be there for her, help support.

let them kill the rapist, or brutally injure him. he deserves it. thats what my friends did, and i have not seen him in a looooooooooong time.

No, no girl deserves to get raped. I hope your friend is going to be ok. About this guy, I would report him, and lock him up for a long time. That makes me sick that people would do that. The precautions you have taken are excellent. BUT! You don't know if he is dangerous, so I would let the cops handle him.

I agree with Bushsupporter. This definitely needs to be handled by the authorities. Something bad could happen. You don't want to get caught in a battle of "He said/ she said" thing with this guy. It sounds like you're doing a good job supporting your friend. Keep it up.

This is getting irrational is what it is getting. I might be angry but I would calm down and go the right way with it. Go to the athorities and put him in jail. Use the system.

Okay we tried to confront him, but he confronted us first. He came up to us and asked us why we were spreading rumors, then he left. My sister and my friend's sister stuck up for him, and told us to hear him out. He wasn't interested in telling us his side of the story, so we still don't know about it. They say he was on the other side of town and that she was with her boyfriend the entire time, yeah well her boyfriend doesn't have a car. This is getting nuts. Later people and may this get taken care of soon.

I'm trying o be there for her. He showed up today. When she saw him she turned a weird color and started shaking, I hugged her and held her close that's about all I could think of. He acts like nothing happened!! Well the cops are ivolved but they say they might arrest her! She's 18 and he's 17, so they say it was molesting a minor and sadutory rape, but he forced her! I walk her to class but I'm worried. I have to leave right after lunch today and she still has two more periods left in the day! Why would someone ruin someone else's life like that? For all you girls out there I just want to say sorry if you have ever had that happen to you or know someone who went through it.

I agree that what you've done already is great. You shouldn't to do anything to the guy yourself, that will only get you into trouble. Your friend needs to get the police involved, if she hasn't alredy, and make sure she still has evidence (not taking a shower and not washing her underwear). This is traumatic. I think you're doing everything correctly. Just be there for her. My best friend was raped last summer by a guy she went on a date with. I, personally, wanted to castrate him, but just being there for her and listening to her helped her the most.

I think what you've done already is great. I think that @sshole should be thrown in jail,but while your thinking about what to do to the guy, have you thought about what to do for the girl? has she seen a rape counsellor? I know that's realy helpfull. you all realy need to be there for her, instead using your time on him, talk to her, spend time with her. It would probobly be a lot more helpfull for the whole situation then killing the jerk.:)

Drakia I agree with the killing my cousin was raped and we found the guy and convicted him.But before then he was loose for about a week. Worried the **** out of her and her family.

But we all were there the whole time.He was lucky he didn't show up.;)
