That's all there is to it.

You "cutters" really need to find Jesus Christ.

He can save each and every one of you who are going through this sick and twisted disorder.

You people need help, and not any from those politically correct no-religion-allowed shrink doctors.

You guys need spiritual armor, and you can only get that from the One True Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Put down your blades and rejoice! Jesus Christ can and will deliver you from these demonic things!

"joeydauben" and "fightagainstabortion" make me laugh... in a really depressed "why are people still so ignorant" sort of way. please, please, please, stop pushing jesus on everyone. we need to help people actually address their issues and better themselves. if youre going to give advice, it seems more productive to give advice specific to the issue rather than just saying "jesus can fix it" and leaving it at that. jesus cant fix it. jesus is dead.

Ok first off, In my opinon there is no Jesus Christ. I don't belive in that anymore. I did for a couple years and it made matters worse. They say if you pray and wait things will come to you. I prayed I waited and things got worse. I got up and did somthing about it and matters got better.

Second, many people who do not belive in Christ don't go around saying"I don't like the fact that you belive in Christ and you think he is savoir so you need to belive in nothing. Many Atheists respect the fact that you are a Christian and will not tell you, just because they think beliving in nothing is better, that you should belive in nothing. So you should respect us and just dont persist with trying to make us belive in "god" or "Jesus".

Third, many cutters are belivers in Christ but they still cut because it is mentally programed into their emotions and their brain that it will make things alot better. It is mostly a mental thing self-harm so you cant change it just by beliving in somthing. You need therepy you need medication you need real help.

Let's see...would I rather have AIDS and get treatment so I can like fifteen years longer, or wait for God to "take me" or miraculously "heal me"? Treatment, thanks. God's just a little too unreliable. (But I guess he's too busy creating hurricanes to "punish us" and putting Sharon in a coma to care about the good people dying of diseases. *Snicker.* )

Sometimes, spirituality is not enough to heal people of anything. I agree that some degree of spiritual health is necessary to live happily and healthily, but physical, emotional, and mental help are all just as important and need to be observed. Doctors, physical ones, are important sources of resolution for our physical health. Psychologists I do not think are as helpful when it comes to solving problems of the mind. If anything, they offer emotional support in times when people really need it. Mental problems (referring to depression and anxiety) though are a matter of our own state of minds. Medicine, although I don't think it is good to abuse its effects, may sometimes be needed.

Living in a world where Jesus (or any divine source) heals all and everything is fictional and overly-optimistic. Nature does not provide for miracles. Everything works in equilibrium and everything has scientific founding in nature and order. The only miracle in nature is life itself.

----I think Joey is smarter than you.

I never thought Joey's post is dumb. It's in fact, the most beautiful of all posts I have seen around.

Science is only invented by man. God has done many great things, part of which consists the UNEXPLAINABLE.

So, which would you trust, your science (inventions that can break down in a couple of years) or God, who can heal without having chemical experimentations?

Well my best friend was bi-polar and depressed, she killed herself becuase she never recieved treatment, she never recieved treatment because her mom talked her into believing she didn't need a docter, that she only needed religion.

Have a great day.

I wouldn't call it dumb. I understand what he is saying.
But how he is saying it is all wrong. Cause he doesn't understand our lives and all.

I believe in God and I believe He can heal.
I can tell you all day long that God saved me and healed me. I can get you so worked up,{like a lot of people do} to where you believe but if you don't have the Faith then once it's over with then everything goes back to normal.

With some people Christ is the answer for everything, I'm one of them. I believe in going to the Doctor and stuff like that, but I'm going to pray and ask God to help me out before I go to the Doctor. Some people think that you are crazy if you go to the Doctors, but maybe God has someone there He want's you to talk to.
I always look at or try and look at stuff like that.

Well to answer your comment I would have to say that sometimes religion doesn't work for people and sometimes it's not the answer. Sometimes you have to turn towords science in a case of a depressed person or someone who is bi-polar. I hope You get put in a positon where you see how hard dealing with a mental disorder is, and then you see how stupid your judgement on other people was.

Have a great day.

I don't mean any offence but I haven't got that much faith in God or Christ. Actually, I don't have much faith in a lot of things especially religion. For me, sh*t happens and things get better with or without them.

Oh puhlease. I've been a Christian for as long as I can freaking remember and I cant remember a single time where I've needed God that hes actually been there. I'm loosing my faith and I'm not that worried about it. I don't need God. He's not helping me now. He never will. I'll probably be atheist in like a year.

I wish it was different.

Too bad its not.

(( And cutting isn't a freaking sick and twisted disorder. Its a way of letting out emotions. The problem is you get addicted and cant stop. It feels good though. Thats why I do it. It saves me from what I cant deal with. God couldn't do it. So Mr. Bible Thumper when you get in my position and live my life then you tell me that I need a God who isnt there. But until that day dont start preaching cuz I'm practically the effing choir. ))

Why is God the answer to everything? That's my only question these days. I'm not putting down Christianity...im just not there yet. I believe but I dont.. you know of those confused people yeah that's me. What about the people who are content with their lives and have a different religion? I don't think you need (notice i said need not you shouldn't have as in it's your choice) religion; you just need something that keeps you moving in life. Whether it be music, poetry, basketball, your family, or jesus in fact.

When I used to cut and thought about suicide almost every minute of every day for four long years, it was because no one had told me that my dreams were worth anything. I abandoned shreds of hope as soon as I found them because I was always let down. I STOPPED believing in God and Jesus during this time. I had so much aggression toward myself and society, once I carved "JUSTICE" in my arm. The thing that finally dragged me out and continues to sustain me is my spirituality - Buddhism. I don't believe in it absolutely, but it's as close as I can get, and I alter it to fit me.

I think that Jesus might help people, but for me, that didn't. How would a "God" like that let me suffer - and let the Earth become such a mess that I didn't see my place in it? I think it's lovely that so many people have found joy in Jesus, I don't think it's for everyone...I think as long as people are practicing love and understanding, it doesn't matter which religion you use to become happy and closer to God/the gods and goddesses. But maybe that's just me. =)

It's not that easy. You can't just be like Oh I believe in God all the sudden. An Maybe when people cut it has nothing to do with God.

You know you cant just tell someone to find Jesus...its not that easy im afraid.

For me, my lord I got the joy of experiencing hell before i found religion. Now I was raised catholic, I was confirmed catholic and I simply didnt practice them. I had catholic beliefs grounded in me and they werent going to leave me but I just never fully believed in what I was taught. Now it has been just recently that God and Jesus really made a difference in my life. I became pregnant at 17 and the dad, my fiance, realized we cant survive without one of us having a job. So he went and joined the Marines. Well I ended up with complications in my pregnancy and the dad wasnt here and he still isnt, he is still at boot camp and it was this situation that really made me realize how good God is. Everyday while I was in the hospital I prayed and he answered most of my prayers. He did take care of me.

In the end it takes your own personal experience to find God and Jesus. Its sad but a nice does of reality really helps you to find who the true savior is. And when that day comes you know it and your faith or change in faith will reflect that.
