Many kids will remeber bring home letters in elementry school about Head Lice, and once we were old enough to understand what it meant asked everyone and played a guessing game of who has head lice. Whether you were the tormenter or the victum it always was very messy. Ive desided that maybe i will set some of the misconceptions about head lice right, then maybe less kids will go through the torture.

First off head lice do NOT carry any diseases, so you cannot get a disease from someone with head lice. Secondly head lice prefer Clean and Healthy heads to unclean head, which means the person does not have bad personal hygene. Thirdly pets cannot transmit the bug to humans or vice versa. Fourth it is very preventable by not sharing hair clips or brushes or hats, and frequently checking for Nits. Lastly head lice are NOT dangerous!
