i haven't heard about people waiting to kiss until after they're married. that seems a bit...extreme.

When I started this topic, I hadn't been kissed, but now I have, but now I can't change my vote because you can only vote once!!!

I have those thoughts too Teddy! Actually, for the longest time, if I'd ever think about kissing a certain guy I'd get this mental picture of the certain guy and this HUGE lips coming towards me, or they'd have this squished face and shake as they came towards me. But if I didn't picture a face that wouldn't happen. Is that a fear of kissing? Or just some weird Angela'ism I have? LOL

i disagree with the whole wait-till marriage thing when it comes to kissing
To me:
kissing is just for fun, having sex is for someone you REALLY care about.

yes, i have been kissed. it actually wasn't as great an exeriance as i thought it would be. My first kiss was when i was 14, with my first boyfriend. it was really cute, and really sweet, but he wasn't the best kisser, so... the next guy i have kissed was my second boyfriend, and i was his first kiss, we were together for four months, which was a really long time for me. and the last and latest boy that i have kissed/made out with is this guy that i liked for a really long time, and we hooked up, and that was the end of that. so, i have kissed, and been kissed, and it can be great, but not always. as for that whole, waiting till marriage, or being in love thing, i don't buy it just for kissing someone, having sex is one thing, but kissing is not that big a deal. don't worry to much about it for those of you who haven't been kissed, your time will come! and it doesn't have to be perfect the first time, go ahead and practice

Approaching 16, no boyfriend, no kiss. *Sigh* Well, Ive been kissed lots of times during truth or dare, but i dont count those because i think that a "real" kiss requires some sort of emotion and connection between the two people. The only time that Ive been kissed outside of truth or dare was a couple of weekends ago when a guy friend of mine was trying to cheer my up giving me kisses on the cheeks and he snuck one in on me, but i dont count that either cuz it goes along with the whole "there has to be emotion" thing.

Well, my MOM would like me to say that I'm savin it for marriage, and I think that's really cool when people do that, but I just don't have that self-control. But my mom is never ever going to allow me to date, she wants me to do *courtship* and I don't understand that dated under-rated stupid concept! I mean I don't wanna play the dating game, and I understand that 14 may be too young, but when I'm like 18? I'm not going to go out with every guy I see. I don't know where she gets off. Anyways, *ahem* yes, I would like to be kiss/kiss, but that may have to wait until Mommy's back is turned.
Lots of love, Lynne

Sadly my first kiss was very crappy. I mean real kiss. Not just a prolonged kiss on the lips, I mean REAL kiss. And blah! It was so gross! Freaked me out for a while, then i feared i was a bad kisser! But then I broke up with that guy and i realized it was just him! Now i am with a guy who is a great kisser. And our first realy kiss was nothing compared to the first little peck him gave me. It was SO cute ^_^ and still gives me butterflys in my tummy well over a year later. He picks on me because i guess i didnt kiss him back the first time (because i was so shocked!). Anywho... all i can say is just let a kiss happen. A memory is a memory. ~Alex~

I've played truth or dare when I was 10 and they're like kiss him on the lips. and I did, kinda wish I didn't, but I don't count that as my "first kiss". I mean, I was one of those hand behind both of your backs lean in until lips touch, then back away moment after lips touch. LOL
I have a boyfriend now, (first boyfriend, I'm 16, and I'm happy). He's a really close friend, probably my best friend outside of my family and he's very special to me. We've been "going out" for a month and I think the special first kiss is going to come from him.
(sorry, I'm all mushy! lol)
But I agree about the perfect moment... I mean, you worry so much about it, like: "Where's it going to be?" "Who'll make the first move?" "Should I make the first move or will it just happen?" I worry too much.
