the only body image conflicts i've ever had with disney movies, is that i couldn't grow fins and swim in the ocean. (why would you want to stop being a mermaid? that'd be so cool...)

No, they shouldn't be blamed for causing anorexia. Yes, they may present ideas, but really, a parent should talk to a child about what they are watching. And anyways, even if they didn't watch those movies, they would stil see really skinny models and magazines, so it really doesn't matter.
