I think Norrow put it very well (from a boys point of view) (i must word this very well because some girls i know may read this) It is ocasionally a challenge to not look, im not one of those boys who gets off on this kinda thing (as in one boy i know "loves" maths lesson because he can spend an hour ogling at the girls in front) but we cannot fight human nature! gotta cut post short Helios

RedJill- does it really matter what they think? You should be happy with yourself that you lost weight and that you think you look good, when you're older other girls will probably jealous of your smallness so don't try changing yourself!

I tell you what works everytime. When they are howling at you turn around and stick your finger in your nose. Most guys are grossed out and stop acting a fool after that towards those girls.

see this is the part that I don't understand about being a girl, not that I think you should do this, not at all! But if I was walking down the street and girls were howling at me....I'd probably pull my pants down and shake it But not being a girl, this does not happen to me everyday...I would most likely hate it after a while. Girls don't howl at guys much, but they do say some very mean things I don't look 10 either...hahaha, young but not that young!

quote: haha I'm just picturing Teddy walking down the street with all these old men howling and whistling at her!! Hola Momasita!!!
Exactly like that, with the yalling of "Hola Momasita" or "Hola pequeña muchacha" or something like that. But, no there's not that many old guys, so that's good. Man, I don't get it, I'm really short so that knocks down some ages off of me, I look like a ten year old girl so they are actually howling at a ten year old girl. That is so weird and uncomformable............ I know there are some guys out there who really are not like that so don't worry I'm not going to stereotyped every guy in the world.

Guys howling at you is just immature, yes you should feel uncomfortable, it's guys like that who give all guys a bad name! I have friends who do it and it makes me feel like an idiot when I'm around them, and 90% of the time all it gets them is a dirty look...so why do it? As for older guys...ummm...I may not be the best to answer this, I don't really have a restriction on age. Basically I would date anyone from 18 to 40!! But if it doesn't feel right, it must be wrong haha I'm just picturing Teddy walking down the street with all these old men howling and whistling at her!! Hola Momasita!!! is it something like that Teddy?? If it is I'm sorry....some guys suck and they usually suck even more when there is a pack of them....

I don't care if guys look at me. People look at each other all the time. Guys can't walk around with their eyes close. But, what makes me feel uncomforable is when they start to take some action into play. No, not that kind of action when they talk to you, I mean the action when they howl at you and older man, are they even allowed to talk to me?
I'm confused. Should I overact or is this normal. Should I feel uncomforable? I would never slap a guy, that's all I have to say.
I don't think I look very pretty so why the hack do I get this? I'm soooooooooooooooo confused

quote: perfer to have a guy look at my body. It makes me feel.....i dunno....good i guess??? i dunno....is that bad??? i dunno....i cant figure it out
BTW Bex, very cool post...I see what you are saying, but above is what I mean.... I love if girls look at me and I know it. gothicchick56 seems confused, and the part I'm curious about is are you confused because you really don't know how to feel or is it because people tell you it is wrong? I have had girls do some pretty rude things to me, and that was wrong, it made me feel bad. And that is sort of my point, is it wrong if it doesn't hurt you?? I seriously am affraid to look at girls sometimes, I don't know if they will slap me or have me arrested. And the worst part is alot later we become friends and they reveal they were interested in me. But because of a fear I feel, I have missed out on talking to alot of girls who could have ended up dating me.....this makes me feel bad. I remember at a club I asked a girl if she knew how to get to a pizza place in the area. Her answer was I have a boyfriend, which sucked because I was really hungry and really wanted to know how to get to this place. It seems like we are all just trying to stop communicating to eachother...that to me is wrong. And I think those subtle glances are part of how we communicate....

The only reason I wouldn't like guys staring is that it would make me self-conscious. I'd be flattered to be found attractive, but uncomfortable. Also, with breasts it's like he's thinking of your body/sexual attraction, that's why it's uncomfortable… looking at my face means he likes my face. I dunno why that's better, it feels more… Friendly? Personal? Non-threatening? Maybe it's just me. My body's ok but I don't like dressing to show it off that much, I feel conspicuous and less comfortable. I think some girls do like the attention on their body too. I think if I was dressing to show that ahem, area off, I couldn't really resent guys for looking… Staring really obviously shows a lack of self-control, though! Bex

quote: As for the guys out there: is breast size really THAT important?? Tell the truth, now...
The misconception in this world is that to guys, bigger is better in everything. Big car, big house and so on. While yes guys are pretty competative with their toys, I don't think this holds true with well....ummm boobs. I for one do not like big boobs, I mean there are big boobs and then there are just plain huge and useless! Most of my friends would agree on not really having a thing for huge breasts. And honestly I don't think alot of guys are looking at your breasts to see your breasts, it's the cleavage...don't ask me I don't know what it is but it makes us all drool. And of course most girls with big breasts have more cleavage then others. Now for the girls, why is it so bad if guys check you out? I can see if they just stand there staring, but I take it as a huge compliment if a girl takes a look or even gives me a compliment. It makes me feel good, why do alot of girls hate it so much? Or do girls only hate it when it's an ugly guy? BTW - I understand Teddy's point, why for the rest of you?

Uhm.. okay. I think I missed the point of this board. It's late.. need.. sleep..
BTW- everyone has breasts; both males and females. I just feel it's silly to say that some people have no breasts. Hah. Pft, morbid humor, I suppose.

I feel uncomfortable talking about this for some reason so please bare with me.
Guys seem to think I have large breasts and a butt. They would say I have a Puerto Rican Butt whatever that means.
I really don't think my breasts are huge and my butt is okay.
I'm short, really short so guys thinks I'm more easy to handle. No really, I'm not just making this up, a guy told me that once. Well, he wasn't a guy, he was a grown hairy man and oh yea a guy did tell me that once too but he was just saying I didn't weight anything to him so I was easy to handle, I don't think he meant anything bad by that.
Guys look too much. Even those grown guys with the cars and they honk all the time and they howl at you and then they say something really weird in Spanish. They call me "little girl", every guy in those cars has called me "little girl".
It is so uncomfortable and scary. It's really scary when they stop their car right in front of you and start talking to you, trying to make you go in the car.
So I often now wear a sweater with my hoodie up or baggy clothes and yes something a hat too. But mostly the sweater and my hood is what I wear with whatever I find to wear. I even walk about the halls at school with me hood. Also I like the hood because I think I have a ugly face so I don't want people to see it.
I don't know if what I'm talking about is off the subject of what this thread is about. So sorry for posting this here instead of somewhere where it will be more suitable for what I'm talking about.
Well, back to reading my book or maybe do something else, my eyes are starting to hurt a bit.
Bye N Have a nice day

I'm a Christian and homeschooled, so i guess I'm not exposed to the real guys that make up the world. See, at my youth group, its all about how preppy you are, and boobs don't matter much. all the popular girls have small breasts. I'm pretty big and I am like a nerd. its really weird. Hey norrow, your post was really funny! it really helped me understand guys better. ( my policy is that if us girls have to put up with guys junk, then guys can manage to look at my eyes not my boobs or butt) But anyways. Um...yeah

It's really not worth it. I have a big chest for my age and I think it is really embarrassing. If a guy pays that much attention to someone's chest, he is obviously not using his eyes, because if he did, he would see someone with a great mind. Don't let any guy get you down...believe me. It's not worth it. Yours, Solemn ^_~
