Get more info on the subject then talk with her about it, tell her your worried and let her do what she thinks is right. But dont presure her because it can do more harm than good. Big Grin

complement her (honestly not obsessivly) and dont get preachy. skipping a couple meals is okay, most people eat way too much anyway, make sure she doesn't dehydrate. if she really wants to loose weight look into SAFE ways to do so. arobic and strenght training exersices... and a balanced diet with lots of protein (low in fat so not so much red meat) and fruits and veggies. and lots and lots of water... it actually helps you slim a little. most of the time when we eat we are actually just thirsty anyway.

well my brother did the EAS body for life challenge and reshaped his entire body and I have started to do it as well. the way people do that is eat right. she can eat all she wants just the right **** and working out never hurts anyone. eatting right is the key to all health issues related to weight. if she wants to look better tell her to stop eating chips and munch out on rice and meat and veggies not cheese-itz. tell her or even you loo up stuff on the internet about the Body For Life it is a great program ;-)

thanks for asking

Why wouldn't you tell an authority? They will be able to watch her, and more likely than her getting in trouble, they will love her enough to help her.

I disagree with telling an authority. She will probably be in "trouble" if you do that. Just talk to her one on one about it. Ask her honestly if she is not eating for a reason other than her stomach hurting. It isnt impossible for someone to not be hungry one day.

My guess is that the pain is from her body turning on itself. Your body will eat its own muscules and organs if you dont feed it enough nutrients. Eat girl! Big Grin

watch her carefully. if she keeps up with it for a week, tell her parents and get her help. if it was just for a day or two, i would keep a close eye on her, and just make sure she keeps eating.

I think everyone has self-esteem issues of some degree. It's fairly normal.

The best thing to do is tell her parents. She may get mad at you, but that is the best thing you can do.

You know its really wonderful that you care about your friend and you want to help her. That can be pretty rare. Personally i think the best thing you should do is tell someone. Like a teacher or a counseler or something. Always keep a serious mind set about things like this. She could possibly have an eating disorder, and that can be very serious.
