If people won't say the pledge, then they can get out of the country.

I'm Atheist (how many times have I said that? wink ) but I believe that saying the pledge is paying respect to those men and women who died defending the country so people here could be free. This country was founded upon Christianity, and it's those Christians that gave us the freedoms that you would not have otherwise.

You don't even have to recite it, just simply stand up. If standing up for five seconds isn't to your liking, you have the choice of leaving. No one forces you to live in the United States, it's a choice and a privilage.

As for our currency, why remove "in God we trust"? It's not like non-Christians won't use it because of those tiny letters imprinted on the currency. Money does not lose its worth because of what it says.

i find it intersting that the two are connected at all. money and god that is. i mean, "in god we trust". it's true though.

do we worship money??????????? COUGH, yes, COUGH.

it's blasphamy if you ask me. other than that, church and state should always be seperated. nothing would get achieved other wise; we'd all just fight all day long.

Praise God.

Thank you Shawn for saying that.

(By the way, the "g" in God is capitalized)

The liberal (i.e., Communist) politically correct movement has just shredded every ounce of moral doctrine in the name of "tolerance" and "diversity."

It's nice that "In God We Trust" is on our money, but it's kind of ironic that on the back of a one dollar bill, it has "New World Order" in Latin (under the pyramid).

But anyway, thanks for standing up; I was starting to wonder if there were any Christians on this thing.
