How many of ya'll thing getting pregnant as a teen is cool? I don't! I think it's stupid! How can anyone get pregnant accidently?! What if you gets AIDS or any other disease? What will you do? Just say, Oh, well?!
I think its okay only if your babydaddy can provide what he can and if you can still do you and still be able to take care of the baby. My sister she is 18 y/o now she had her baby sophmore yr I think but thats besides the poinjt she was young. She has her own place, job, and car so if you are a mother who had a child then you know the struggle of how it is
I don't think teen pregnancy its right; but yet it is my opinion on what I've learned and what I have been shown. My friend (use to be my best friend) had her first baby when she was 14 she wasn't even 15 at the time, and now in April she turned 17 and she told me she is now 6 months pregnant! I did not know what to tell her, she is basically a drop out now, she only comes to school once in a while and when she does its only to visit people. People in the school constantly talk behind her back & she seems okay with it. At least if she went along with her education it would be okay, because my other friend is a mother for a year now, and she is 18 now, and she attends school EVERYDAY she is getting good marks she is a honor roll student! So I think it really depends on the person, if your at least going to be sexually active use protection because anything can happen such as being pregnant or STD's or possibly HIV/AIDS!
You know I don't agree with teen pregnancies but I think there is such thing as an accident. I have a friend who had a kid our freshmen year of high school and she didn't intentionally get pregnant. I think girls just get smitten, yes I acutally said smitten. But its easy to get into a relationship way to far and lose control. So no I don't recommend it but I don't think teenage mothers should be looked down on like they are.
Don't have unprotected sex, or sex at all for that matter, until you're ready to accept all possible consequences. I'm a young mother, and I would not change it for anything in the world. But, I also have my head on straight and am able to take care of myself as well as my child. For those of you who think, "Well if I get pregnant I'll just give it up for adoption," just remember the health risks involved with teen pregnancy and delivery. You aren't just risking the life of your child, you're risking your own life as well.
I just find out that i'm having a baby to my boyfriend of 3 years i'm 18 yrs old and he just turned 19, we are both very happy , but i'm very confused on what to do! i would love to have a baby, and if i think about killing my child, then i should really be thinking about killing myself because what has my baby done to me, nothing thats right, we have have always wanted to have a baby, but i really have no idea on wat to do!!! if i have my baby then my mum and dad will walk away from and baby, and i don't wanna deal with that, but if i kill my baby then i have to deal with killing someone!!!! HELP... i do wanna keep my baby!
i want your opinions because i wanted to get to know you, not because i was going to use your advice. seeing as that did not work out whatsoever, let me just say a little about myself: i'm a music fanatic, i write poetry and make collages.
is that better?
Yes. It's just that there are people who actually do come on for our advice, which is why it made no sense as to why you would ask when you didn't need any advice.
Because, to put it bluntly, she is an attention whore. Attention whores always do things like that. Smile
what the hell is your problem? i didnt do anything to you and you just enter the discussion and call me an attention whore? you dont even know me!

Actually, why ask for our opinions, when you don't seem to want them is where I'm really getting at.

for example, if at this point i were to say "i'm thinking about trying drugs for the first time. what to you guys think?" i'm not actually going to try drugs, and if i was going to, other peoples opinions wouldnt change my mind.
Then why ask? I don't understand why you would ask when you already know the answer.

i wasnt actually going to act based on what people said, i was just curious about their responses.

i plan on waiting until marriage to have sex, not because i think sex is sacred, but because i think its special and not something to share with anyone you feel close to. the thing is yes, i want sex because i'm just another horny teenager, but emotionally i'm not ready to have sex, nor will i be anytime soon. and i'm okay with that. and i woudnt have sex based on some random people in a forums opinion. people should do what they think is right, not what other ppl think it right.
and yes, i know i asked a dumb question, but what the hell, can u hold it against me?
It's not a dumb question, and I'm not going to hold it against you. But questioning yourself and questioning others about whether or not you should do something shows hesitation, which, when it's a big thing like sex, is a good indication that you aren't ready.
By the way, if you want to have sex, have sex. I just recommend thinking things through, especially if you're asking others' opinions.
well thats one way, to put it bluntly. i wasnt actually going to act based on what people said, i was just curious about their responses. and yes, i know i asked a dumb question, but what the hell, can u hold it against me?
